Barry
Bonds |
| $995 |
|
Baseball
Great Barry Bonds made his Major League debut with the Pittsburgh
Pirates in 1986. He went to join the San Francisco Giants in 1993,
where he played until 2007. Bonds' accomplishments place him among
the greatest baseball players of all-time. He has a record-setting
seven Most Valuable Player awards, including a record-setting
four consecutive MVPs! He is a fourteen time All-star, eight time
gold glove-winner and he holds numerous Major League Baseball
records. He currently holds the all-time Major League Baseball
home run record with 762, and is also the all-time career leader
in both walks (2,558) and intentional walks (688). In 2001, Bonds
broke two of Babe Ruth's long-standing records - most walks and
highest slugging percentage in a season. But those weren't the
records that had the nation buzzing. Because that year he also
smashed Mark McGwire's home run record by hitting 73 roundtrippers.
#73 was hit off of the LA Dodgers' knuckleballer Dennis Springer
on October 7th at Pac Bell Park (now AT&T Park). This
Rawlings Big Stick bat, hand-signed by Barry, is a terrific collectible
from one of the greatest sluggers to have ever played the game.
A great, and unique, gift for any baseball fan.

(from

Orlando
Cepeda, a powerful slugger, was a seven-time National League All-Star.
As a 20-year-old rookie with the Giants in 1958, the Baby Bull
hit .312 with 25 home runs to earn unanimous National League Rookie
of the Year honors. Nine years later, the Puerto Rican native
compiled a league-leading 111 RBI for the World Champion Cardinals,
while becoming the first unanimous MVP in the National League
since Carl Hubbell in 1936. During his 17-year career, Orlando
played for: San Francisco Giants (1958-66), St. Louis Cardinals
(1966-68), Atlanta Braves (1969-72), Oakland A's (1972), Boston
Red Sox (1973), Kansas City Royals (1974). Cepeda was elected
to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999 representing San Francisco
Giants and his #30 was retired by the Giants.
One of only five San Francisco Giants Hall of Famers (Sports Gallery
has had all five for signings
-Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Juan Marichal, and Gaylord Perry
being the others), a statue of Orlando was recently unveiled at
at AT&T Park (joining Mays, McCovey and Marichal).
Cepeda signed these blonde Adirondack baseball bat with the very
special "Baby Bull"
and "HOF 99" inscriptions during Orlando's
recent Sports Gallery signing. Great collectibles from

Derek
Jeter |
| $695 |
|
By
the time he's through with his major-league career, NY Yankee
SS Derek Jeter could have a championship ring for each of his
10 fingers. He's already played on four World Series winners and
has reached the "Fall Classic" six times. Derek completed
a rare "double" of sorts in 2000 when he was named MVP
of the All-Star Game as well as the World Series. Away from the
field, few players are as popular as Derek. He's been called the
"Prince of the City," with his good looks and easy demeanor
and he still refers to his manager as "Mr. Torre."

NY
Yankees Shortstop Derek Jeter, the
1996 Rookie of the Year, has played a key role on the powerful Yankee
teams of the late 1990s/2000's, while becoming one of the most popular
players in New York. For a Michigan kid who summered with his grandparents
in New Jersey, playing for the Yankees is a dream come true. But
for many New Yorkers, sports fans or not, Jeter is just dreamy.
When he arrived in NY, he was quickly dubbed the second-most sought-after
bachelor in the city after John F. Kennedy Jr., and was often seen
squiring equally eligible single models and actresses around Manhattan.
But unlike other young stars suddenly thrust into the media spotlight,
Jeter never let his success off the field affect his success on
it. By the time he's through with his major-league career, NY Yankee
SS Derek Jeter could have a championship ring for each of his 10
fingers - he's already played on four World Series winners. Derek
is just flat-out a winner. This very cool black Rawlings
"Big Stick" bat is hand-signed by Derek in silver
sharpie. A great collectible. And a great gift for any Yankees fan.

MVP awards. He accumulated 12 Gold Gloves, played in a record-tying
24 All-Star Games and participated in four World Series. The "Say
Hey Kid," voted to baseball's Hall of Fame in 1979, hand-signed
this authentic bat with his unique signature. A Sports

San
Francisco Giants 1B Willie McCovey used a sweeping swing to belt
521 homers and collect more than 2,200 hits. "Stretch"
led the National League in homers three times and in RBI twice,
also pacing the circuit in slugging percentage for three consecutive
years (1968-70). McCovey earned National League MVP honors
in 1969, 10 years after earning National League Rookie of the Year
in 1959. Said Sparky Anderson of the six-time All Star: "If
you pitch to him he'll ruin the baseball. He'd hit 80 home runs.
There's no comparison between McCovey and anybody else in the League."
One of five San Francisco Giants Hall of Famers (Sports Gallery
has had all five for signings
-Willie Mays, Juan Marichal, Orlando Cepeda, and Gaylord Perry being
the others), Willie was elected to the Pro Baseball Hall of Fame
in 1986 and his #44 has been retired by the Giants. And, of course,
McCovey Cove is the home of the "Splash
Landing" at AT&T Park - monster home runs (like
Willie hit) that clear the stands and land in San Francisco Bay.
This very black Rawlings Bat was hand-signed during Willie's
recent signing at Sports Gallery, and includes the special
inscriptin "521 HRs."

Kevin
Mitchell ITEM
OF THE WEEK!
Black & Blonde
(from
exclusive sports gallery signing)
|
|
Kevin Mitchell was a raw baseball talent
capable of amazing things on the field. Raised by his grandmother,
Kevin used baseball to escape the violent San Diego street gangs
of his youth. Originally drafted by the NY Mets, Mitchell played
six different positions for the World Champion New York Mets as
a rookie in 1986, including 24 games at shortstop, finishing third
in the NL Rookie of the Year voting. On July 4, 1987, Kevin was
traded from San Diego to San Francisco and belted a pair of homers
in his Giants debut. Kevin went on to hit .306 the rest of the
season as the Giants won the NL West. However, the 1989 season
was the pinnacle of Mitchell's career. In that season, he had
a league-best 125 RBI and 47 home runs, leading the team to the
playoffs and winning the National League's MVP Award, the first
by a Giant since Willie McCovey in 1969. He added a .353 average
and 2 homers in the NLCS to help the team to its first World Series
appearance since 1962. Kevin is also most known for an excellent
defensive play, making a running bare-handed catch of a fly ball
to deep left field in St. Louis' Busch Stadium off of Ozzie Smith.
This remarkable catch is considered by many to be one of the more
memorable defensive plays in the history of the game.
During Kevin's
recent Sports Gallery signing, he signed various Giants
and baseball collectibles for SGA including these very cool Rawlings
bats - one black and one blonde, both with "NL
1989 MPV" inscriptions. A Great gift for any longtime
Giants fan, but hurry we only have a limited
number from our signing.

Cal
Ripken/Brett Favre
Limited Edition "Iron Man"
Series |
| $1,495 |
This
is definitely a unique collectible. Two great atheletes that transend
their respective sports to represent competitiveness, determination,
grit and longetitvity - true "Ironmen"
of the sports world. HOF'er Cal Ripken Jr. earned the nickname Iron
Man by playing in a remarkable 2,632 straight games spanning
sixteen seasons, from May 30, 1982 to September 20, 1998. He played
his 2,131st consecutive game on September 6, 1995, against the California
Angels, breaking the 56-year-old record set by the "Iron
Horse," Lou Gehrig. So captivated by this record and
player were baseball fans, that, in a nation-wide vote, fans voted
this record-breaking game as the "Most
Memorable Moment" in MLB history. In the NFL, the list
of the most consecutive starts by a quarterback contains only only
five players that have been able to achieve streaks longer than
100 games. And only one of those five has a streak over 200 games
- Brett Favre. The record setting Iron
Man of all football quarterbacks has come back from retirement
and his record-shattering continuous game streak continues through
the 2008 NFL season (260+ and counting). Niether illness or nagging
injury has kept Brett from playing (despite scenes of him throwing
up during games and needing crutches afterwards). And then there
is the unforgettable Monday night game against the Raiders, where
Brett played the game of his life only days after his fathers
death. Two legendary sports figures with two remarkable records.
Both true modern-day ironmen. This dual-signed, limited edition
bat is #1 of a series of only 48. is a totally unique and timeless
collectible that will be passed down generation to generation in
your family. But hurry, we only have one
in our galleries.

Pete
Rose
4,256 Hits |
| $359 |
In
the 1960's Pete Rose was a brash rookie who turned the derisive
nickname "Charlie Hustle" into a badge of honor. In the
1970's he won World Series titles as part of Cincinnati's "Big
Red Machine," an MVP award, and challenged the greatest record
in baseball history - Joe
DiMaggio's consecutive game hitting streak. In the 1980's
he became the most prolific hitter in history, managed his hometown
team, and was banished from baseball and the Baseball Hall of Fame
(for the time being) for his gambling indiscretions. Through it
all Pete Rose maintained his station at the top of baseball headlines,
setting the all-time major league record for most hits (4,256) and
games played (3,562). He, more than any other player, defined his
era. Pete hand-signed this Pete Rose model Adirondack bat along
with the inscription "4,256," his record career hit total.
Combine this bat with one of our quality wall-mounted
mahogany baseball bat cases and you have a timeless piece
of sports art for your office or den. A great gift for any baseball
fan.

Pablo
Sandoval new!
Kung Fu Panda
(from
exclusive sports gallery signing)
|
| $289 |
|
Pablo
Sandoval, born in Carabobo, Venezuela, is the latest Giants phenom
and there is NOTHING about Pablo that is ordinary. After all,
when was the last time a 22-year-old 5'11" 245-pound switch-hitting
catcher made the jump from A-ball to the middle of the batting
order for a major league team in one year? If you're leafing through
your Baseball Almanac, we'll save you the time. The answer is
never. The closest comparison you will find is 2008 NL MVP Albert
Pujols, who made a similar rapid rise in 2000. The 22-year old
Venezuelan was signed by San Francisco in 2002 at the age of 16.
And few young players have generated as much buzz. He has torn
up every league he's played in the last two years with the bat
(in 273 at-bats for A San Jose, he hit .359 with 12 home runs
and 59 RBI and in 175 at-bats with AA Connecticut, he hit .337
with eight homers and 37 RBI) and he's doing the same with SF
hitting over .300 in 2009, amongst the League Leaders in BA. And
Pablo has proved very capable at multiple defensive positions,
playing Catcher, 3B and 1B extremely well. Nicknamed "Kung
Fu Panda" by teammate Barry Zito because of his resemblance
to the movie character, Pablo is fast becoming one of the most
popular athletes in the Bay Area. At Pablo's
recent SGA signing he signed a variety of collectibles
including this Rawlings Black Bat. Included is Pablo's special
inscription "Kung Fu Panda."

Watch
out for San Francisco Right Fielder Nate Schierholtz in 2010.
Drafted by the Giants in the 2003 MLB Draft, Schierholtz made
his major league debut on June 11, 2007, against the Toronto Blue
Jays as a defensive replacement. He got his first hit the next
night in his first career at-bat. A member of the 2008 USA Olympic
Team, the Giants and their fans have justifiably high hopes for
Nate. And on April 28, 2010 (a day before our signing) Schierholtz
went a career-best 5 for 5 against the Philadelphia Phillies and
gunned down two runners trying to stretch out doubles. A rising
star indeed... And thanks to our recent
signing with Nate in Walnut Creek we have some very
cool autographed collectibles including this black Rawlings "Big

Suzuki,

The A's drafted him in the second round of the 2004 amateur draft.
He joined the major league club on June 9, 2007 and made his debut
three days later as a pinch hitter in a game against the Houston
Astros. Kurt played at Cal State Fullerton, where he captured
the 2004 College World Series championship, thanks to Suzuki's
two-out RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning, giving
the Titans a 3-2 win over the Texas Longhorns (whose closer, Huston
Street, was also drafted by the A's in 2004). His time at Fullerton
earned him the nickname "Kurt
Klutch." He won the Johnny Bench Award as the country's
top collegiate catcher in 2004. He was also selected All-American
by two publications, Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball.
A very popular player with the fans and a star of the future for

Ryan
Sweeney, a graduate of Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa,
was ranked the No. 1 Prospect in the Chicago White Sox organization
in 2007. Ryan had originally signed to play collegiately for Tony
Gwynn at San Diego State, but instead signed with the White Sox

became an Athletic on January 3, 2008 when he was traded to Oakland
(along with fellow prospects Fautino De Los Santos and Gio Gonzalez)
for A's outfielder Nick Swisher. Billy Bean strikes again! In
2009, Ryan began the season patrolling Center Field like nobody
else in the League, the owner of several ESPN web gems and home-run
robbing catches. Now looking like a solid .300+ hitter and CF/RF
of the future for the A's, Ryan is a can't miss MLB star on the
rise. During Ryan's

Sosa is a home run hitting machine. He was the first player in baseball
history to have three 60+ home run seasons (98,99,01). In 1998,

the MLB single season homerun record, Sosa was named the National
League MVP and Sportsman of the Year by Sports Illustrated and The
Sporting News. In 2004 Sammy not only became the Cubs all-time home

On
October 3, 1951 during the ninth inning of Game 3 of a three-game
