Hank
Aaron
Atlanta Braves
Home Run 715
Atlanta Stadium
April 8, 1974
A crowd of 53,775 people (a Braves attendance record) packed
Atlanta Stadium to witness history in April, 1974. And Hammerin
Hank did not disappoint. In the 4th inning, Aaron
hit career home run number 715 off LA Dodgers pitcher Al
Downing to break Babe Ruths All-Time Home Run
Record. Almost as famous as the home run itself was Hanks
jog around the bases as two college students sprinted
onto the field and celebrated
alongside Aaron.

Hank
Aaron not only raised the bar for home runs with his 755 career
roundtrippers, but he also established 12 major league career records,
including most games, at-bats, total bases and RBI's. Aaron played
the infield but gained recognition as an excellent outfielder, winning
three Gold Glove awards. He earned National League Most Valuable
Player honors in 1957, and appeared in a record 24 All-Star Games.
But he definitely earned the nickname "Hammerin' Hank"
Aaron for his propensity to hit HRs. And his most famous home run
was #715, the blast that surpassed Babe Ruth as Major League Baseball's
All-Time Career Home Run Leader (since surpassed by Barry Bonds).
No true baseball fan will ever forget the night of April 8, 1974
when Aaron hit his record blast off the Dodgers' Al Downing at Atlanta's
Fulton County Stadium. Capture this moment forever with this Sports
Gallery Exclusive Display. Part of our SGA
Immortal Moments Series collection, this display includes
a hand-signed photograph of Aaron hitting his historic HR and descriptive
plate. Sports Gallery Quality Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective

Moises
Alou & Steve Bartman
Bartman Foul Ball |
| $229 |
How
famous is this play in baseball history? So famous that a "Bartman"
has entered the sports lexicon, referring to any fan who interacts
with players during a game. Steven Bartman gained notoriety on the
evening of October 14, 2003 for preventing a play on a foul pop-up
in Game 6 of the NLCS between the Chicago Cubs and the Florida Marlins
at Wrigley Field. At the time, Mark Prior was pitching a three-hit
shutout for the Cubs. The Cubs led 3-0 and were five outs away from
reaching the World Series for the first time since 1945, and possibly
winning it for the first time since 1908. Bartman, a lifelong Cubs
fan, was sitting in a box seat in the front row along the left field
corner wall, when a pop foul fly off the bat of Luis Castillo drifted
toward his seat with one out and runner on base in the eighth inning.
Cubs left fielder Moises Alou was in position to attempt a catch,
but Bartman, who was watching the ball and not the fielder, blocked
the ball from Alou's glove. Alou slammed his glove down in frustration,
and the Cubs argued for an interference call to no avail. Following
this incident, the Marlins scored eight unanswered runs and went
on not only to win the game but the NLCS series. From that moment
on, Steve Bartman and Moises Alou became inextricably woven into
the hundred-and-twenty-eight-year-old history of the Cubs franchise.
A moment no Cubs fan will ever forget this great photograph of what
will forever be known as the "Bartman
Foul Ball" is hand signed by Alou and includes a commemorative
plaque. A unique gift for any Cubs...or Marlins...or just plain
baseball fan. The
Curse of the Billy Goat lives!

Jeff
Bagwell |

$179 |
|
Jeff
Bagwell, along with teammate Craig Biggio, has become virtually
synonymous with the Houston Astros over the last 15 years. Developed
as a third baseman, Bagwell shifted to first base during the 1991
spring training and went on to win National League Rookie of the
Year honors that season. Jeff's greatest year may have been 1994
when he was a unanimous selection for National League Most Valuable
Player after batting .368 with 39 home runs and 116 runs batted
in (in a strike-shortened season). In eight different season (and
seven straight) between 1994 and 2003, Bagwell hit at least 30
home runs, scored at least 100 runs and drove in at least 100
runs. Known for his unusual low, wide-open batting stance, Bagwell
is flat-out a hitting machine. And in 2005 he was part of the
Astros' run to the World Series. This hand-signed photograph shows
Jeff doing what he does best - hitting the cover off of the ball.

Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass and
classic double matting, this is a great gift for any Houston fan.

and ten World Championship teams. The heart of the Yankees for
18 seasons, Berra topped the 100-RBI mark four years in a row

Berra was selected to the All-Star team. During his career he
called three no-hitters, including Don Larsen's perfect game in
the 1956 World Series. Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in
1972, Yogi hand-signed these 8x10 and 16x20 versions of this classic
photograph of this special moment in 1947 when rookie Yogi Berra
met the great Sultan of Swat.

Remember
when players actually stole home? This classic collectible captures
what many baseball historians consider the most famous theft of
home plate ever. In the 1955 World Series between the Yankees
and the Dodgers, the Yankees won the first game 6-5 before losing
the series to the Dodgers. In a controversial play during the
8th inning of that game, Jackie Robinson stole home to bring the
Dodgers within a run. Films of this famous steal are inconclusive,
but to this day Yogi is convinced that Jackie was out. In fact
here is excerpt from a recent interview with Berra:
| Q: |
Yogi,
one of the most famous plays in baseball history was in the
first game of the 1955 World Series when Jackie Robinson stole
home while you were catching. Do you still say-- |

To get the clearest picture of the magnitude of 3B Wade Boggs's
production, consider this: in his 18-year career, Boggs reached
base safely in an incredible 80% of his games and was the only
batter in the twentieth century to have seven consecutive 200-hit
seasons. He appeared in twelve All-Star games as a third baseman,
second only to Brooks Robinson. In the seven years between 1982
and 1988 he batted .349 or higher six times. In his off-year he
hit .325! In 1993, Boggs joined the Yankees where he made four
consecutive All-Star starts at 3B and won two Gold Gloves. However,
the real highlight of Boggs' career came in 1996 when the Yankees
won the World Championship and Wade led the team on it's Yankee
Stadium victory lap on horseback (courtesy of the NYPD). A member
of the exclusive 3,000 hit club and 2005 HOF inductee, this hand-signed
Boggs Yankee photograph is a terrific collectible.

Single-Season HR Record |

In
2001, Bonds broke two of Babe Ruth's long-standing records - most
walks and highest slugging percentage in a season. But those weren't
the records that had the nation buzzing. Because that year he also

Homerun #73 was hit off of the LA Dodgers' knuckleballer Dennis
Springer on October 7th at Pac Bell Park (the September 16th game
was rescheduled after 9/11). A record that won't be broken anytime
soon, this tribute includes Bonds swings for #70, #71, #72, and

$139
|
After
hitting the 700th home run of his career, Barry Bonds struggled
to find the words to describe his latest swing into history. In
truth, only the numbers could do it justice. With his 700th homer,
Bonds made the 700 Club a three-member organization and moved
ever closer to baseball's two greatest sluggers, Babe Ruth (whom
he has since passed) and Hank Aaron. Bonds connected in the third
inning of San Francisco's' 4-1 win over the San Diego Padres on
September 17th, 2004. With a 392-foot solo shot to left-center,
the 40-year old Bonds became the first new member of the 700 club
in 31 years. "It's just unbelievable," Bonds said. "You
really can't put it into words to be in a class with those two
great players. It's like you're dreaming and you're not dreaming.
It's unbelievable, it's unreal..." This
Sports Gallery Exclusive
display includes the official photograph (unsigned) of that historic
home run, a replica ticket, and a commemorative plaque. A terrific

three Giants Legends are shown here on the night of April 17,
2001 when Bonds hit a Terry Adams fastball into McCovey Cove (very
appropriate) for #500. Barry joined these two behind home plate
where he gave an emotional speech to the sold-out crowd:

St.

Brock also accumulated more than 3,000 hits to help lead the St.

pitcher Ernie Broglio, to this day a trade considered by most
Cubs fans to be the worst in franchise history. Blessed with great
speed and even better baserunning instincts, Brock held the record
for career stolen bases (938) at his retirement. He also collected
3,021 hits during his career and led the Cardinals to World Series

"He's

He has a fastball and a curveball.
He's sneaky. He throws hard."
So
said Manny Ramirez (and the plate on this Sports
Gallery Exclusive Display) after ManRam stuck out against
Madison on three pitches in Spring Training. And that was when
Madison was only 19! Madison is the latest young pitching phenom
from the Giants following in the footsteps (or cleat marks) of
Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain. The #1 Selection of the Giants (10th
overall) in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft, Madison was
the first high school pitcher to be selected by the Giants with
their first pick since Matt Cain in 2002, and the first left-handed
pitcher taken as the first pick by the organization since Mike
Remlinger in 1987. And he's a stud. Making quick work of A and
AA, Madison was called up to the big Giants to start for an injured
Tim Lincecum on September 8, 2009. And although he pitched a no-decision,
Madison's Major League debut definitely lived up to the hype.
This SGA Fugure Stars Series display is Quality

In fact, this dynamic duo on the mound became the first duo of
Giants starting pitchers to be named All-Stars since eventual
Hall of Famers Juan
Marichal and Gaylord
Perry made the National League squad in 1966. Of course,
Tim
Lincecum has received most of the national spotlight,
and rightly so. All he has done in his first two seasons is lead
the League in strikeouts, be selected to 2 All-Star teams (2009
as the starting NL Pitcher) and win 2 Cy Young Awards, becoming
the 1st pitcher in baseball history to win this prestigious award
in his first full two years in the League. Not a bad start. But
quietly, the younger Matt Cain is making a name for himself on
the mound as well. In 2009, Cain has had his best year in his
young career. He finished the season with a 14-8 record and an
impressive 2.89 ERA. Matt was also awarded the Willie Mac Award
presented yearly to a Giants player who best exemplifies the spirit
and leadership consistently shown by Willie McCovey as voted upon
by the players and coaching staff - a huge honor in SF. And, of
course, he was selected to his first All-Star Game. This Sports
Gallery Exclusive Display pays tribute to this special duo, perhaps
the best 1-2 the Giants have had on the mound in over 30 years.
Quality Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass and classic
Giants double-matting, this is a great collectible that any Giants
Fan would cherish.

At
his peak, few players - save perhaps his Bash Brother teammate
Mark McGwire - could match Jose Canseco's formidable presence
and tremendous swing at the plate. Born in Havana, Cuba, Canseco
earned Rookie of the Year honors in 1986 with 33 home runs and
117 ribbies. With great bat speed and power to all fields, Canseco
later became the first Athletic with back-to-back 100-RBI seasons
and became the team's second player with three straight 30-homer
seasons. Canseco took home the AL MVP Award in 1988, helping power
the A's to the World Series with his .307 average, 42 homers,
and 124 RBIs. The next year Jose batted .357 in the World Series
to lead the A's in a four game sweep of their cross-bay rivals,
the Giants. This hand-signed photograph of Jose during his Oakland
days, framed and matted in A's green and gold, is a great remembrance
of the Oakland glory days of the late '80's.

Gary
Carter
New York Mets
|
|
|
A
rugged receiver and enthusiastic on-field general, Gary Carter
excelled at one of baseballs most demanding positions, as
both an offensive and defensive force. A three-time Gold Glove
Award winner, Carter belted 324 home runs in his 19-season major
league career. Kid was a two-time All-Star Game MVP,
an 11-time All-Star, and still holds the all-time catching record
with 12,988 chances accepted. His clutch single in the 10th inning
of Game Six of the 1986 World Series sparked the New York Mets
to a dramatic comeback victory and ultimately a World Series title.
Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003, Gary played for
the Mets (pictured here), Expos, Giants and Dodgers during his
career. This beautifully framed and matted, hand-signed photo
of Gary making the tag on Jim Rice in the 1986 World Series is
a great collectible!

Oakland
Athletics 3B Eric Chavez officially became the A's next hot young
star in 2002 when he hit .277 with 34 home runs and 109 runs batted
in. In 2003 he upped his batting average to .282 while hitting
29 home runs and 101 RBI's (repeated in 2005), making it three
years in a row with 100+ runs batted in. His 34 home runs in 2002
broke his own franchise record for home runs by a third baseman
(32 in 2001) and he holds the single-season RBI record for third
basemen with 114. And he can field too, the winner of five straight
Gold Gloves at third base, including in 2004 and 2005 when he
beat out another gold glover, A-Rod, for this prestigious award.
This Mount Carmel High School (Los Angeles) All-American signed
a long-term contract with Oakland in 2004 locking him up as an
Athletic for years to come. All the baseball gurus expect great
things from Eric so get this very cool hand-signed photo of Eric
at the plate (check out his broken bat!) before it goes up in
value. Sports Gallery Quality
Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass (very
important for signature protection!) and classic A's double-matting,
this is a great gift for any A's fan.

Will
Clark
"The Natural" 8x10
& 16x20 |
| Will
"The Thrill" Clark played
15 seasons in the big leagues for four different teams - the Giants,
Rangers, Orioles, and Cardinals. A career .303 hitter, Clark is
most remembered for his classic left-handed uppercut swing that
earned him the nickname "The Natural."
A feisty competitor (a 1990 poll of 65 major league players ranked
Will Clark as the best clutch performer in baseball), this Mississippi
St. Bulldog's best years were with the Giants where he was a fan
favorite and led them to them to two post-seasons and the 1989 World
Series. Clark was voted the starting first baseman for the NL All-Star
team every season from 1988 through 1992. His finest hour came in
1989, when he batted .333 (narrowly losing the batting title to
Tony
Gwynn on the final day of the season) with 111 RBIs,
finishing second in the NL MVP voting to teammate Kevin Mitchell.
His pennant-winning single against the Cubs Mitch "Wild Thing"
Williams in the 1989 NLCS is one of the great moments in San Francisco
Giants history. This colorful hand-signed 16x20 photograph shows
Clark at the plate and is Sports Gallery Quality
Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass, and
classic SF Giants double-matting. A terrific gift for any longtime
Giants fan. |

Roger
Clemens new!
Houston Astros
|
|
$329
|
Former
Yankees and Red Sox and current Astros pitcher Roger Clemens is
a seven-time Cy Young award winner(!), three-time Players Choice
Outstanding Pitcher honoree, and an AL MVP in 1986. Roger also
shares the major-league record for strikeouts in a game (20) and
is the only pitcher to accomplish the feat twice. Roger is a physical
marvel, achieving the latter feat a decade apart ('86 and '96).
This nine-time All-Star recently added two more lines to his Hall
of Fame plaque: 300 victories and 4,000 strikeouts. He became
just the 21st pitcher to reach 300 victories and only the third
(joining Nolan Ryan and Steve Carlton) to crack the 4,000-strikeout
milestone. This surefire first ballot Hall of Famer came out of
retirement to pitch for Houston in 2004 where he promptly struck
out batter 4,137 to move to 2nd place (behind Nolan
Ryan) on the all-time strikeout list and was selected
the National League starter for the 2004 All-Star Game. Oh yeah...he
also won his seventh Cy young Award! Amazingly, in 2005 Roger
was almost better posting a 1.87 ERA, the lowest in the Majors
and lowest of his 22-season career. An unbelievable talent on
the mound and true physical marvel, Roger is without a doubt one
of the all-time greats on the mound. We are fortunate to have
two very cool action photographs of "The
Rocket," hand-signed by Roger and Quality
Framed by Sports Gallery. A great gift for any baseball
fan.

Oakland
Athletics Shortstop Bobby Crosby had quite a rookie year. In 2004,
Bobby's first full year in the Majors, all he did was lead all
American League rookies in HRs, RBIs, Hits and Total Bases. He
also become the fifth Oakland Athletic after Jose Canseco (1986),
Mark McGwire (1987), Walt Weiss (1988) and Ben Grieve (1998) to
win the American League Rookie of the Year Award. And Bobby was
just the fourth Major League rookie in history to hit 20 or more
home runs as a shortstop. The 2001 Big West Player of the Year
at Cal State Long Beach, Bobby is headed for big things...if he's
not already there. With Crosby and Eric
Chavez handling the left-side of the A's infield, expect
big things in Oakland. And for Crosby...the latest in a long line
of great young talent coming from the A's organization. Hand-signed
by Bobby, this action photograph is quality framed and matted
in thick black wood, UV-protective glass and A's double matting.
A great gift for any A's fan.

"It's
amazing how many people say thank you.
Not so much congratulations, but thanks."
So
said Johnny Damon shortly after the Red Sox historic 2004 World
Series victory. Damon, Boston's shaggy centerfielder, became a
clubhouse spark plug in 2004, playing a major role in leading
Boston to its first World Series crown since 1918. Damon not only
racked up the best season of his nine in the Majors (20 home runs
and a .304 batting average) but created a following, Damon's Disciples,
who showed up at Fenway thoughout the year sporting long wigs
and fake beards to mimic their hero's Grizzley
Adams look. Early in the year Damon affectionately christened
the Sox "a bunch of idiots"
to try to keep his teammates loose and in winning form.
It must have worked because this unlikely group of heroes not
only won three in a row to defeat the hated Yankees 4-3 in the
ALCS but went on to break The
Curse of the Bambino and bring Boston the World
Series Championship it had longed for. This awesome photograph
shows Damon, in full beard, making a leaping grab in front of
Fenway's Green Monster. Hand-signed (along with Damon's #18) and
tastefully framed and matted, this is a terrific collectible from
a year no Sox fan will ever forget.

Dennis
Eckersley
Oakland A's |
| $229 |
|
Pitcher Dennis Eckersley blazed a unique path to Hall of Fame
success. During the first half of his 24-year big league career,
"Eck" won over 150 games primarily as a starter, including
a no-hitter in 1977 (a memorable 12-strikeout performance against
the California Angels). Over his final 12 years, he saved nearly
400 games, leading his hometown Oakland A's to four American League
West titles, three American League Championships and one World
Series victory in 1989. His most impressive season was 1992 when
Eck started off the season with a major-league record 36 consecutive
saves. By the end of that season, Eckersley had tallied 51 saves.
Even more impressive, he only walked 11 batters - six intentionally
- while striking out 93. With his last save of the season, Eckersley
broke Dan Quisenberrys AL record of 239 saves earning him
both the American League MVP and Cy Young Awards. The
only pitcher with 100 saves and 100 complete games, Eckersley
thoroughly dominated opposing batters during a six-year stretch
on the A's from 1988 to 1993, in which he struck out 458 while
walking just 51. A Baseball Hall of Fame inductee in 2004, Dennis
will always be an Oakland fan favorite thanks not only to his
success on the mound but his distinctive long hair and mustache.
This Sports Gallery Quality
Framed action shot is hand-signed by Dennis and would
make a great gift for any longtime A's fan.
