Atlanta Braves
Home Run 715
Atlanta Stadium
April 8, 1974
A crowd of 53,775 people (a Braves attendance record) packed
Atlanta Stadium to witness history in April, 1974. And Hammerin
Hank did not disappoint. In the 4th inning, Aaron
hit career home run number 715 off LA Dodgers pitcher Al
Downing to break Babe Ruths All-Time Home Run
Record. Almost as famous as the home run itself was Hanks
jog around the bases as two college students sprinted
onto the field and celebrated
alongside Aaron. |

Hank
Aaron not only raised the bar for home runs with his 755 career
roundtrippers, but he also established 12 major league career records,
including most games, at-bats, total bases and RBI's. Aaron played
the infield but gained recognition as an excellent outfielder, winning
three Gold Glove awards. He earned National League Most Valuable
Player honors in 1957, and appeared in a record 24 All-Star Games.
But he definitely earned the nickname "Hammerin' Hank"
Aaron for his propensity to hit HRs. And his most famous home run
was #715, the blast that surpassed Babe Ruth as Major League Baseball's
All-Time Career Home Run Leader (since surpassed by Barry Bonds).
No true baseball fan will ever forget the night of April 8, 1974
when Aaron hit his record blast off the Dodgers' Al Downing at Atlanta's
Fulton County Stadium. Capture this moment forever with this Sports
Gallery Exclusive Display. Part of our SGA
Immortal Moments Series collection, this display includes
a hand-signed photograph of Aaron hitting his historic HR and descriptive
plate. Sports Gallery Quality Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective

Moises
Alou & Steve Bartman
Bartman Foul Ball |
| $229 |
How
famous is this play in baseball history? So famous that a "Bartman"
has entered the sports lexicon, referring to any fan who interacts
with players during a game. Steven Bartman gained notoriety on the
evening of October 14, 2003 for preventing a play on a foul pop-up
in Game 6 of the NLCS between the Chicago Cubs and the Florida Marlins
at Wrigley Field. At the time, Mark Prior was pitching a three-hit
shutout for the Cubs. The Cubs led 3-0 and were five outs away from
reaching the World Series for the first time since 1945, and possibly
winning it for the first time since 1908. Bartman, a lifelong Cubs
fan, was sitting in a box seat in the front row along the left field
corner wall, when a pop foul fly off the bat of Luis Castillo drifted
toward his seat with one out and runner on base in the eighth inning.
Cubs left fielder Moises Alou was in position to attempt a catch,
but Bartman, who was watching the ball and not the fielder, blocked
the ball from Alou's glove. Alou slammed his glove down in frustration,
and the Cubs argued for an interference call to no avail. Following
this incident, the Marlins scored eight unanswered runs and went
on not only to win the game but the NLCS series. From that moment
on, Steve Bartman and Moises Alou became inextricably woven into
the hundred-and-twenty-eight-year-old history of the Cubs franchise.
A moment no Cubs fan will ever forget this great photograph of what
will forever be known as the "Bartman
Foul Ball" is hand signed by Alou and includes a commemorative
plaque. A unique gift for any Cubs...or Marlins...or just plain
baseball fan. The
Curse of the Billy Goat lives!

comes Baby Giraffe!! Are you ready for another young phenom Giants
fans...with an another awesome nickname?! Because all signs point
to Brandon Belt as being just that in 2011 and beyond. Born in
Nacogdoches, Texas, Belt was taken by the Giants in the 5th round
of the 2009 MLB Draft after his junior year at the University
of Texas. He started off with the High-A Giants affiliate in San
Jose and proceeded to move quickly through the Giants farm system.
Brandon hit well at all three levels in 2010 finishing the year
with a .352 batting average and gaining attention as one of the
Giants top prospects. On
March 30, 2011, it was announced that Belt had been named to the
Giants' opening day Major League roster. He started in his first
major league game the next day and singled off of Los Angeles
Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw in his first Major League at bat.
And the next game, Brandon did even better hitting his first MLB
homerun, a 3-run blast off of the Los Angeles Dodgers' Chad Billingsley.
This photo of Belt being congratulated by Buster Posey after his
first MLB HR is hand-signed by Brandon and framed with SGA Floating
Plate commemorating the best new nickname in baseball - "Baby

baseball resume when it comes to playing on fourteen pennant-winners
and ten World Championship teams. The heart of the Yankees for
18 seasons, Berra topped the 100-RBI mark four years in a row
and became a three-time AL MVP. In every season from 1948 to 1962,
Berra was selected to the All-Star team. During his career he
called three no-hitters, including Don Larsen's perfect game in
the 1956 World Series. Elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in
1972, Yogi hand-signed these 8x10 and 11x14 versions of this classic
photograph of this special moment in 1947 when rookie Yogi Berra
met the great Sultan of Swat.
Both are Sports

when players actually stole home? This classic collectible captures
what many baseball historians consider the most famous theft of
home plate ever. In the 1955 World Series between the Yankees
and the Dodgers, the Yankees won the first game 6-5 before losing
the series to the Dodgers. In a controversial play during the
8th inning of that game, Jackie Robinson stole home to bring the
Dodgers within a run. Films of this famous steal are inconclusive,
but to this day Yogi is convinced that Jackie was out. In fact
here is excerpt from a recent interview with Berra:
| Q: |
Yogi,
one of the most famous plays in baseball history was in the
first game of the 1955 World Series when Jackie Robinson stole
home while you were catching. Do you still say-- |

Peter "Yogi" Berra played almost his entire 19-year
baseball career (19461963) for the New York Yankees. One
of only four players to be named the American League MVP three
times and one of only six managers to lead both American and National
League teams to the World Series, Yogi was elected to the baseball
Hall of Fame in 1972. Widely regarded as one of the greatest catchers
in baseball history, Berra is easily one of the most popular Yankees
of All-Time. And he is part of two unforgettable moments, both
captured on film. One is his World Series no-hitter partnering
with Don Larsen. It was Game 5 of the 1956 World Series against
the Brooklyn Dodgers and is still the only perfect game in the
history of the World Series. And whenever he is asked about his
most memorable Yankee Stadium moment, Yogi Berra instinctively
calls to mind Don Larsen's perfect game in the 1956 World Series
and the everlasting image of him jumping into the arms of Larsen
after their "World Series Perfection."
The other moment is the historic on-field meeting and photograph
of Yogi and The Babe. It happened
in 1947 when a then-rookie Yogi Berra met the great Sultan
of Swat before
the game, Passing the Torch of Yankee Greatness from
one Yankee Legend to another. Sports
Gallery offers both these great moments and photographs as part
of our SGA

these are both timeless and affordable gifts for any baseball

Pitcher Vida Blue signed with the Oakland Athletics at age 19
instead of accepting numerous scholarship offers to become a major-college
quarterback. He went on to have a stellar MLB pitching career,
including being named an All-Star in 1971, '75, '78, and '81;
leading the League in ERA in '71; and being named the League MVP
that same year. Blue pitched with both the Oakland A's and San
Francisco Giants during his career, making him that rare sports
figure that is equally popular on both sides of San Francisco
Bay.
A three-time World Series Champion with Oakland, these classic
Athletics action photographs were hand-signed by Blue. "On

| In
the history of Major League Baseball, very few players have hit
500 home runs. The San Francisco Giants have more representatives
in this elite club than any other team - Willie Mays, Willie McCovey,
Mel Ott and Barry Bonds. McCovey, Mays and Bonds have over 1,800
Home Runs between them (and counting thanks to Barry...)! These
three Giants Legends are shown here on the night of April 17,
2001 when Bonds hit a Terry Adams fastball into McCovey Cove (very
appropriate) for #500. Barry joined these two behind home plate
where he gave an emotional speech to the sold-out crowd:
| First
of all, I gotta thank my parents for having me.
I want to thank Willie Mays for being here, and Willie McCovey.
Most of all, thanks to all of you; I love you and I'm proud
to be in a San Francisco Giants uniform. |
This
beautiful 11x14 photograph of this historic moment in Giants history
is hand-signed by BOTH
Barry Bonds and Willie Mays - godfather and godson. Quality framed
in thick black wood, UV-protective glass (very important for signature
protection!), and SF Giants double-matting, this is a great gift
for any longtime Giants fan. A special collectible that will be

St.
Louis OF Lou Brock is recognized as one of the most gifted base
runners in baseball history. Brock helped to revolutionize the
art and science of this element of the game as he totaled 938
stolen bases during his 19-year career. A six-time All-Star selection,
Brock also accumulated more than 3,000 hits to help lead the St.
Louis Cardinals to three National League pennants and two World
Series championships during his career. And although his stolen
base records has since been eclipsed by Rickey
Henderson, the National League honors each years
stolen base leader with the Lou Brock Award. Elected to the Baseball
Hall of Fame in 1985,
Brock was a baseball pioneer, revolutionizing the "Art
of the Steal." This hand-signed photograph of Lou
doing what he did best - running the bases - is Sports Gallery

Bill
Buckner & Mookie Wilson
1986 World Series w/ Plaque |
| $199 |
The
1986 World Series will be forever known for the play that cost
the Boston Red Sox Game Six and eventually the whole series. On
a routine ground ball hit by Mookie Wilson towards first base,
Bill Buckner let the slow rolling ball trickle through his legs
which allowed Ray Knight to score the game-winning run. The NY
Mets then went on to win Game 7 and the World Series Championship.
This photo of that classic baseball moment is hand-signed by BOTH
Buckner and Wilson and the framing includes a commemorative plaque
describing this fateful play in Mets, Red Sox, and World Series
history. One of the more famous moments in World Series history,
Bill Buckner's boot of Mookie Wilson's routine ground ball not
only propelled the Mets to a seven game series win, but further
perpetuated the legend of the "Curse
of the Bambino."

He has a fastball and a curveball.
He's sneaky. He throws hard."
So
said Manny Ramirez after ManRam stuck out against Madison on three
pitches in Spring Training in 2009. And that was when Madison
was only 19! Madison is the latest young pitching phenom from
the Giants following in the footsteps (or cleat marks) of Tim
Lincecum and Matt Cain. The #1 Selection of the Giants (10th overall)
in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft, Madison was the first
high school pitcher to be selected by the Giants with their first
pick since Matt Cain in 2002, and the first left-handed pitcher
taken as the first pick by the organization since Mike Remlinger
in 1987. And he's a stud. Making quick work of A and AA, Madison
was called up to the big Giants to start for an injured Tim Lincecum
on September 8, 2009. And the rest, as they say, is history, as
Madison helped lead the Giants to the World Series Championship
in 2010 as the #3 starter. A pitcher with a bright future, this
very cool 16x20 is hand-signed by Madison. A great gift for any

the past few seasons, Matt Cain has been the best young pitcher
on the San Francisco Giants not named Tim
Lincecum. A graduate of Houston High School in Germantown,
Tennessee, Matt was selected by the Giants in the first round
in the 2002 MLB Draft. Cain made his major league debut on August
29, 2005 at the age of 20 against the Colorado Rockies. He earned
his first major league win on September 4 against the Arizona
Diamondbacks. Late in the 2006 season Cain had a remarkable run
pitching. From August 12 to September 14, Cain recorded a 50
record with an almost unheard-of ERA of 0.21. During this streak,
he allowed just one earned run in 42 innings and did not
allow an earned run in 30 innings. He led all National League
rookie pitchers with 13 wins and 179 strikeouts in 2006. An All-Star
in 2009 and in 2011, Cain really showed his stuff during the Giants
amazing 2010 World Series run. Cain was perfect in the postseason
with a 0.00 ERA including a shutout victory in Game 2. Matt signed
these very cool World Series shot from that game right next to
his office - the mound. Sports

"The Thrill" Clark played
15 seasons in the big leagues for four different teams - the Giants,
Rangers, Orioles, and Cardinals. A career .303 hitter, Clark is
most remembered for his classic left-handed uppercut swing that
earned him the additional nickname "The
Natural." A feisty competitor (a 1990 poll of 65 major
league players ranked Will Clark as the best clutch performer in
baseball), this Mississippi St. Bulldog's best years were with the
Giants where he led them to them to two post-seasons and the 1989
World Series. Clark was voted the starting first baseman for the
NL All-Star team every season from 1988 through 1992. His finest
hour came in 1989, when he batted .333 (narrowly losing the batting
title to Tony Gwynn on the final
day of the season) with 111 RBIs, finishing second in the NL MVP
voting to teammate Kevin Mitchell. His pennant-winning single against
the Cubs Mitch "Wild Thing"
Williams in the 1989 NLCS is one of the great moments in San Francisco
Giants history. SGA has many great Thrill Collectibles to offer,

"Arriba" 11x14
& 8x10 w/ Floating Plate (unsigned) |
| Roberto
Clemente Walker, a native of Carolina, Puerto Rico, played his
entire 18-year (1955–72)
baseball career with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
And everyone knows he was a GREAT
baseball player. Awarded the National League's Most Valuable Player
Award in 1966, Clemente was also a fifteen-time All Star, two-time
World Series Champion, World Series MVP, 3000 Hit Club member,
won 12 Gold Glove Awards, and led the league in batting average
in four different seasons. But as good a ballplayer as he was,
Roberto was an even better person. Clemente was actively involved
in humanitarian work in Puerto Rico and other Latin American countries,
often delivering baseball equipment and food to them. In fact
he died in an airplane crach on December 31, 1972, while en route
to deliver aid to earthquake victims in Nicaragua. Elected to
the Baseball Hall of Fame posthumously in 1973, he became the
first Latin American to be selected and the only current Hall
of Famer for whom the mandatory five-year waiting period has been
waived since the rule was instituted in 1954. Roberto's "21"
was also retired by the Pittsburgh Pirates. This amazing photograph
shows Roberto's Gold Glove play at it's best. Quality Framed with
SGA Floating Plate commemorating his "Arriba" nickname,
this is a timeless piece of Sports Art and great gift
for any baseball fan.

Brandon
Crawford new!
11x14 & 8x10 w/ Floating
Plate |
| Yep,
he's the latest rookie sensation in San Francisco, following in
the footsteps of Tim Lincecum, Pablo Sandoval, Buster Posey and
Brandon Belt. The "other" Brandon plays shortstop and
was called up to the Giants on May 26, 2011. The next day he started
his first MLB game. And all he did was something that only six
players in the HISTORY of Major
League Baseball have accomplished - hit a grand slam! A native
of the San Francisco Bay Area, Crawford attended UCLA where he
played from 2006 to 2008. There he he helped lead the Bruins to
the NCAA Regionals in three consecutive seasons, the first time
in school history. Crawford was selected in the fourth round of
the 2008 MLB Draft by the Giants and the rest is, as they say,
history. His Grand Slam came in his third at bat off the Brewers'
Shaun Marcum. Way to make a first impression! And he's an excellent
defensive shortstop. Get this very cool action photograph, hand-signed
by Brandon and uniquely framed w/ SGA Floating Plate commemorating
his historic home run. But hurry...we have a very LIMITED
number in stock!

Pitcher Dennis Eckersley blazed a unique path to Hall of Fame
success. During the first half of his 24-year big league career,
"Eck" won over 150 games primarily as a starter, including
a no-hitter in 1977 (a memorable 12-strikeout performance against
the California Angels). Over his final 12 years, he saved nearly
400 games, leading his hometown Oakland A's to four American League
West titles, three American League Championships and one World
Series victory in 1989. His most impressive season was 1992 when
Eck started off the season with a major-league record 36 consecutive
saves. By the end of that season, Eckersley had tallied 51 saves.
Even more impressive, he only walked 11 batters - six intentionally
- while striking out 93. With his last save of the season, Eckersley
broke Dan Quisenberrys AL record of 239 saves earning him
both the American League MVP and Cy Young Awards. The
only pitcher with 100 saves and 100 complete games, Eckersley
thoroughly dominated opposing batters during a six-year stretch
on the A's from 1988 to 1993, in which he struck out 458 while
walking just 51. A Baseball Hall of Fame inductee in 2004, Dennis
will always be an Oakland fan favorite thanks not only to his
success on the mound but his distinctive long hair and mustache.
This Sports Gallery Quality
Framed action shot is hand-signed by Dennis and would
make a great gift for any longtime A's fan.
