David
Ortiz |
| $199
|
David
Ortiz, the popular first baseman/designated hitter for the Boston
Red Sox from the Dominican Republic, spent his first six major league
seasons with the Twins. But it is his subsequent years as a Red
Sox for which he is best known. After signing with the Red Sox as
a free agent in January 2003, he had 39 doubles, 31 homers, 101
RBIs and a .288 average in his first season with the team. And of
course the next year all he did was lead the team to its first World
Series Championship in 86 years with a .301 average, 41 home runs,
and 139 RBIs. A stud of a hitter, David's left-handed uppercut is
a thing of beauty...unless of course you're a fan of the New York
Yankees. In the 2004 ALCS David hit .387 with 3 homers and 11 RBI
and was named the MVP of Boston's stunning 4-3 series victory over
the hated Yanks. And, of course, in 2007, David and the Sox did
it all over again, winning Boston's 2nd World Series, this time
by defeating the upstart Colorado Rockies. This great photograph
of David pointing heavenward crossing the plate is is hand-signed
by Ortiz and Sports gallery Quality
Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass (very
important for signature protection!) and classic Red Sox suede double
matting. A great gift for any Sox fan.

The
captain of the dominating Dodgers teams of the 1950s, scrappy
Pee Wee Reese was a quiet force both on the field and in the clubhouse.
An outstanding defensive player, he led the National League in
putouts four times, double plays twice, and fielding percentage
and assists once each. For almost a decade he and Jackie Robinson
formed one of Baseball's top double-play combinations. Reese led
Brooklyn to seven pennants in his 16 seasons, and his 46 World
Series hits ranked fifth all-time. Reese was voted into the Baseball
Hall of Fame in 1984. Pee Wee hand-signed this vintage 11"
x 14" photograph of the celebration following the Brooklyn
Dodgers 1955 Championship. That day the Brooklyn team won their
their first and only World Series, over their nemesis the Yankees,
in a 7th game, 2-0 nail-biter.

Perry new! |

Gaylord
Perry joined the Giants in 1963 to work mostly as a relief pitcher
that year. Nevertheless, in 1964 he was given the opportunity
to join the starting rotation, finishing with a 2.75 ERA and a
12-11 record, both second best for the Giants that year behind
Juan Marichal. In 1965 his record was 8-12, and with two full
seasons as a starter.Perry's breakout season came in 1966 with
a tremendous start, going 20-2 into August. Perry and Marichal
became known as a "1-2 punch" to rival the famous Koufax/Drysdale
combination of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Perry played in his first
All-Star game and finished 21-8 for the season.Perry had a low
ERA and allowed only 7 hits per 9 innings pitched. At Candlestick
Park on September 17, 1968, two days after his 30th birthday,
Perry, pitched a 1-0 no-hitter over the St. Louis Cardinals and
Bob Gibson. The lone run was on a home run by light-hitting Ron
Hunt—the second of the only two he would hit the entire
season. The very next day, the Cardinals returned the favor on
the Giants on a 2-0 no-hitter by Ray Washburn—the first
time in Major League history that back-to-back no-hitters had
been pitched in the same series. In 1969, Perry led the league
in innings pitched, but the Giants finished second in the pennant
race for the fifth straight season. Perry took over as the Giants'
ace in 1970, and lead the league both in wins (23) and innings
pitched (328). Perry's strong 1970 performance salvaged the Giants
season, helping them finish above .500 but in third place. In
1971, the Giants finally won their division, with Perry posting
a 2.76 ERA.

Albert
Pujols new! |

Albert's
St. Louis Carndinals career has gotten off to a remarkable start.
After winning the Players Choice Award for outstanding National
League Rookie as well as the unanimous choice for National League
Rookie of the Year Award in 2001, he didn't slow down one bit
the following seasons. He was the first player in Major League
history to hit .300, hit 30 home runs, score 100 runs and drive
in 100 runs in each of his first three seasons. In 2002, he was
second in MVP voting to Barry
Bonds (in only his second season), and did so while
trying his hand at no less than six different positions -- first
base, third base, left field, right field, designated hitter,
and even shortstop. In 2003, he won the National League (and Major
League) Batting Title with an average of .359 and was the leading
vote-getter for the 2003 All-Star Game. In 2004 he was again voted
as the starting First Baseman for the NL All-Star team and finished
the season with a .331 average, 46 homers and 123 RBIs. He became
the third player in history to total 500 RBIs over his first four
seasons. And all he did in 2005 was win the NL MVP and lead the
Cardinals to the National League Championship series. Albert is
THE MAN right now in baseball.

Mariano
Rivera new!
Last Pitch at Yankee Stadium 16x20 |
|
$499 |
|
Historic Yankee Stadium hosted it's final baseball game on September
21, 2008. The game, and moment in history, will only grow with
time, like Lou Gehrigs farewell, Don Larsens masterpiece
and Reggie Jacksons third home run in a World Series game.
Untold thousands will say they were there the night the curtain
fell on baseballs grandest stage. The Stadium went out the
way it opened, with a victory, 7-3 over the Baltimore Orioles.
Babe Ruth hit the first home run, in 1923, and José Molina
hit the last, a two-run shot to left that broke a tie in the fourth
inning. Mariano Rivera was on the mound at the end, working a
1-2-3 inning, with Cody Ransom making the final putout at first
base on a grounder by Brian Roberts at 11:41 p.m. But the legacy
of Yankee Stadium will live on. And it turns out that the legacy
was never the title fights or the NFL Championships, the papal
visits or the World Series. It was the fans. In its final season,
the Yankees set a record for attendance, 4,298,543. At the end,
the fans were drawn to Ruths house in ways he never could
have dreamed. This 16x20 photograph of Mariano delivering the
game...and stadium's...final pitch is piece of baseball history.
Hand-signed by Mariano and Sports Gallery Quality
Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass (very
important for signature protection!) and classic Yankees double
suede matting, this is a timeless piece of Sports Art that would

Alex
Rodriguez 11x14
2007 American League MVP |
|
$299 |
|
SS/3B
Alex Rodriguez won the batting title with a .358 mark in 1996
with Seattle. Asked to be more of a run producer with his next
team Texas, A-Rod added more lift to his swing and produced back-to-back
50-homer seasons. In 2002, Alex put together the most dominant
offensive season in history by a shortstop AND
played Gold Glove defense while appearing in every game. The next
year, 2003, Alex did even better by winning the American League
Most Valuable Player Award and being voted a starter in the that
year's All-Star game, his seventh mid-sumer classic appearance.
In 2004 Alex became a Yankee, creating a "dream
team" infield with Derek
Jeter. That year he recorded his 1,000 RBI, became
the youngest player in Major League history to reach 350 career
homeruns (28 years, 282 days), and was voted the starting 3B for
the American League All-Star team. In '05 yet another milestone
was reached as A-Rod became the first Major Leaguer to join the
400 Club before his 30th birthday, hitting HR #400 at 29 years
of age. And, all Alex did in 2007 was win the American League
MVP award. Look out Barry
Bonds - A-rod has a real shot at the All-Time Career
Home Run record. Without a doubt, Rodriguez collectibles will
only be going up in value in the future.

By

SS Derek Jeter could have a championship ring for each of his

of the most popular Yankees in recent memory. Alex Rodriquez status
in the sport can be summed up by the fact that he was selected
the Players Choice Outstanding Player in the American League three
straight seasons and five times total in his career. He won AL
home run titles three seasons straight and won the American League
Most Valuable Player Award in 2003. Alex moved from the Texas

the 1960's Pete Rose was a brash rookie who turned the derisive
nickname "Charlie Hustle" into a badge of honor. In

greatest record in baseball history - DiMaggio's consecutive game

in history, managed his hometown team, and was banished from baseball
and the Baseball Hall of Fame for his gambling indiscretions.
Through it all Pete Rose maintained his station at the top of

On
September 11, 1985, Pete Rose passed Ty Cobb's career hit record
and officially became "The Hit

national television audience watched to see if Rose could break
Cobb's hit record -- a record many experts felt was unbreakable.
Rose didn't disappoint. In the first inning, he hit a line drive
on a 2-1 slider from Eric Show for hit No. 4,192. Rose's hit set
off a wild and emotional celebration. The 47,237 fans stomped
and roared their approval in what San Diego first baseman Steve
Garvey (pictured in the photo) calls the greatest ovation he has
seen. Rose's teammates poured out of the Cincinnati dugout as
Rose acknowledged the crowd and eventually broke down in tears

Pitcher Kirk Rueter was a mainstay in the San Francisco Giants

2004 he became the first pitcher to win 100 career games as a

He was especially clutch after the All-Star break, going 7-3 as
San Francisco won the National League pennant. Woody, as he is
affectionately known (because of his resemblance to Woody the
Cowboy from "Toy Story"), started more than 30 games
and won better than 10 games for the six straight season while

Joe
Rudi new!
1972 World Series Catch |
| $129 |

Joe Rudi was an underrated superstar for the mighty Oakland A's
of the early 1970's. Oakland won three consecutive World Series
(1972-74) with a lineup that featured Reggie Jackson, Sal Bando,
and pitchers Catfish Hunter, Vida Blue, and Rollie Fingers. But
nobody was more important to the A's overall success than Rudi.
He was an excellent defensive player, a smart hitter, and a good
baserunner. His arm was strong and accurate, and he was outstanding
in the clutch. In Game Two of the 1972 World Series versus Cincinnati,
Rudi homered, then saved the 2-1 win with a spectacular ninth-inning
catch that A's fan still talk about. And in Game Seven against
the Dodgers in 1974, his seventh-inning homer broke a 2-2 tie,
and Oakland held on to win 3-2. A three-time All-Star and Gold
Glove Award winner, Rudi hand-signed this awesome tribute of his
famous, game-saving '72 Word Series catch with the special inscription
"Gold Glove 74-75-76."

Throwing
no-hitters as a young fireballer and as a veteran pitcher, Nolan
Ryan is one of the great pitchers of all time. When Ryan threw his
final pitch on September 22, 1993, he concluded a 27-year major
league career in which he had 5,714 strikeouts and an amazing seven
no-hitters, the highest totals of any player in history. He also
won 324 games while playing longer than anyone in major league history.
Nolan was selected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on January
5, 1999 in his first year of eligibility. Yet despite all these
honors, his most famous photograph is this shot of Ryan. A bloodied
Ryan continuing to pitch after being struck by a Bo Jackson line

Nolan
Knows Bo 16x20 |
| $439
|
With
a blazing fastball that approached 100 mph and a work ethic like
no other, Nolan Ryan dominated hitters for an unparalleled 27 seasons
on his way to an all-time record 5,714 strikeouts. During four decades
of prominence, he totaled 324 victories and a host of major league
records. Most notable of his milestones are a mystifying seven no-hitters
and 12 one-hitters. The eight-time All-Star fanned a record 383
batters in 1973, and his career strikeouts encompassed 1,176 different
players. This 16x20 of a bloodied Ryan continuing to pitch after
being struck by a Bo Jackson line drive is a classic. Hand-signed
by Ryan and quality framed and matted in thick black wood, UV-protective
glass (very important for signature protection!), and Rangers red
and blue matting, this is a great collectible from one of baseballs'
All-time Greats.

Nolan Ryan vs. Robin Ventura 8x10
new! |
| $229 |
On
August 4 1993, Hall of Famer pitcher Nolan Ryan's Rangers faced
off against Robin Ventura and the Chicago White Sox. During the
game, Ryan came up and in with a 96 mph fastball and hit Ventura.
In a heat-of-the-moment decision, an incensed Ventura dropped his
bat and charged the mound. In a scene captured by TV cameras and
replayed to millions, when Ventura reached the 46-year-old Ryan
(20 years his senior), baseball's all-time strikeout leader put
him in a headlock and started to pound him mercilessly, delivering
six consecutive uppercuts to Ventura's head. It was a spectacle
that would enhance Ryan's legend as one of the toughest pitchers
and fiercest competitors to have ever played the game. This incredible
8x10 photograph, hand-signed by Ryan, is handsomely framed and matted
in thick black wood and Rangers colors. A great collectible of one
of baseballs greatest pitchers.

Pablo
Sandoval new!
"HR Swing" 8x10, 11x14, &
16x20
(from
exclusive sports gallery signing)
|
| Pablo
Sandoval, born in Carabobo, Venezuela, is the latest Giants phenom
and there is NOTHING about Pablo that is ordinary. After all, when
was the last time a 22-year-old 5'11" 245-pound switch-hitting
catcher made the jump from A-ball to the middle of the batting order
for a major league team in one year? If you're leafing through your
Baseball Almanac, we'll save you the time. The answer is never.
The closest comparison you will find is 2008 NL MVP Albert Pujols,
who made a similar rapid rise in 2000. The 22-year old Venezuelan
was signed by San Francisco in 2002 at the age of 16. And few young
players have generated as much buzz. He has torn up every league
he's played in the last two years with the bat (in 273 at-bats for
A San Jose, he hit .359 with 12 home runs and 59 RBI and in 175
at-bats with AA Connecticut, he hit .337 with eight homers and 37
RBI) and he's doing the same with SF hitting over .300 in 2009.
And Pablo has proved very capable at multiple defensive positions.
Sandoval can play Catcher, 3B and 1B extremely well but would obviously
have the most value at catcher, which also happens to be his best
defensive position. He would also have a ton of value if the Giants
were to play him at all three positions, which is exactly what the
Giants are doing in '09. Nicknamed "Kung
Fu Panda" by teammate Barry Zito because of his resemblance
to the movie character, Pablo is fast becoming one of the most popular
athletes in the Bay Area. At Pablo's
recent SGA signing he signed a variety of collectibles
including this very cool action photograph of Pablo at the plate...where
he ALWAYS gets his money's worth!

In
2002, Arizona pitcher Curt Schilling registered his second twenty
win season in as many years by posting a 23-7 mark. Combined with
his previous club record of 22 wins the year before, his two season
total of 45 wins was the most by any hurler since Baltimore's Jim
Palmer (1975-76). The Sporting News Pitcher-of-the-Year that year,
Curt was also MVP of the 2001 World Series while with the Arizona
Diamondbacks. But Curt saved his best for 2004. That season Schilling
brought his awesome stuff to the Red Sox where he was an integral
part of the most memorable Sox team in 86 years. Not only did the
2004 BoSox overcome The
Curse of The Bambino and win the World Series but Schilling
won fans everywhere for pitching (and pitching well!) with a bum
ankle that was bleeding on the mound. Without doubt one of the great
pitchers in the game today, Schilling hand-signed this great action
photograph from 2004. Quality framed and matted in thick black wood,
UV-protective glass, and Red Sox matting, this is a great remembrance
of Schilling and the 2004 "Reverse
of the Curse" Red Sox.

Ozzie
Smith |
| $199
|
Known
as "The Wizard of Oz," Ozzie Smith combined athletic ability
with acrobatic skill to become one of the greatest defensive shortstops
of all time. In 19 seasons with the Padres and Cardinals, the 13-time
Gold Glove Award winner set major league shortstop records for assists,
double plays and total chances. He would also develop into an offensive
weapon, finishing with over 2,400 hits and 500 stolen bases. His
ninth-inning home run won the fifth game of the 1985 National League
Championship Series. Ozzie , elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame
in 2002, is remembered for his acrobatics in the field, including
his famous "flip move" that he would do when taking the
field during special games. This great photograph of Ozzie during
the 1985 World Series is perhaps Ozzie's most famous flip. Hand-signed

J.T.
Snow new!
Gold Glove |
| $189

In
2002, then San Francisco Giants 1B J.T. Snow put on a show in the
post-season, batting .333 with 22 hits and two huge home runs while
helping lead the Giants to the National League pennant. Defensively
J.T. had no peer, as indicated by his six straight (1995-2000) Gold
Gloves. His .993 fielding percentage in 2002 is mind boggling on
its own but it's lower than his career number (.995). Now retired,
J.T is beloved by Giants fans, as witnessed by his winning that
club's Dave Dravecky Award in 1998 as the most inspirational player
(as voted on by the fans). And when he returned for a visit to AT&T
Park at the end of the 2006 season, Snow received a standing ovation
when he was featured on the Jumbotron. His fellow-teammates respected
him as well, voting him the Willie Mac Award both in 1997 and in
2004 for his spirit and leadership. J.T. has the distinction of
being one of only five switch hitters to reach 100 RBI in both leagues
(Snow also played for the NY Yankees and California Angels), although
he hit exclusively from the left-side during his final years with
the Giants.
This cool photograph of Snow displaying his gold glove skills was
hand-signed J.T. at a recent Bay Area signing. It is Sports Gallery

Sammy
Sosa is a home run hitting machine. He was the first player in baseball
history to have three 60+ home run seasons (1998, 1999, 2001). In
'98, the year Sammy and Mark McGwire staged their memorable race
for the MLB single season homerun record, Sosa was named the National
League MVP and Sportsman of the Year by Sports Illustrated and The
Sporting News. A perennial All-Star (most recently voted a starter
in 2004), Sammy is sure to join the 600 homerun club in 2005 (he
currently is 7th All-Time with 574 Roundtrippers) and may challenge
Hank Aaron's all-time homerun record of 755 before his career is
over. Remember Sammy's Cubs years with this hand-signed photograph

Ryan Sweeney, a graduate of Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, was ranked the No. 1 Prospect in the Chicago White Sox organization
in 2007. Ryan had originally signed to play collegiately for Tony
Gwynn at San Diego State, but instead signed with the White Sox
after being taken in the 2nd round of the 2003 MLB Draft. Ryan became
an Athletic on January 3, 2008 when he was traded to Oakland (along
with fellow prospects Fautino De Los Santos and Gio Gonzalez) for
A's outfielder Nick Swisher. Billy Bean strikes again! In 2009,
Ryan is patrolling Center Field like nobody else in the League,
already the owner of several ESPN web gems and home-run robbing
catches. A can't miss MLB star on the rise, Ryan IS

Nick
Swisher
Oakland
Athletics |
| $159
|
Ohio
State Buckeye star, Nick Swisher was selected by the Oakland Athletics
with the Red Sox first round pick in 2002 as compensation for the
loss of free agent Johnny Damon. And boy has Nick made that pick
look smart. In his rookie campaign, Swisher hit 21 home runs and
had 74 RBIs in 131 games. He led American League rookies in RBI's
and tied for the lead in home runs with Tampa Bay's Jonny Gomes.
And 2006 was even better as Nick hit 35 home runs and drove in 95
runs while leading the A's to the ALCS. Swisher set an Athletics
record for home runs by a switch-hitter, breaking the mark of 23
set by Ruben Sierra in 2004. He ranked tied for eighth in the American
League in homers and led the A's in games, runs, walks, extra-base
hits, and total bases. Oakland is legendary for finding the best
young talent and it looks like they did it again with Nick. Now
a member of the Chicago White Sox. Nick is a baseball star in the
making. This great A's action shot is hand-signed by Swisher and
