Gallery, Green and Gold Group & STRIKE Combine for a Memorable Night
of Autographs, Bowling & FUNdraising! |
| | |
|
On June 12, 2010 Sports Gallery and STRIKE combined to create
yet another very special Autograph Event [see also Niners
Mega-Signing], this time featuring up-and-coming
49er defensive star Dashon Goldson and his 49er friends. |
|
| | |
| | The
49ers are definitely a team on the rise thanks to their fiery head coach, Mike
Singletary and a cast of talented young players. The play-off's are a real possibility
for the first time in a longtime, filling the 49er Faithful with hope of returning
to their Team of the Decade glory years. |
| |
| Sports
Gallery is proud to have helped bring together several key ingredients to the
49ers formula for greatness to STRIKE for another one of our unique Signing Events.
Starting Free Safety Dashon Goldson had a breakout
year in 2009 with 94 tackles and 4 interceptions. And most football pundits predict
big things in 2010 from this hard-hitting 2007 draft pick from Washington. Also
attending was starting fullback, and former Kansas Jayhawk star, Moran Norris,
(representing his Moran
Norris Foundation), Takeo Spikes and Delanie
Walker, among others. |
|
| | |
| The
event raised money for The
Highest Point Foundation. This great organization
was created by Dashon in 2009 to provide motivational outlets for youth through
sports programs such as camps and clinics to take them off the streets
and onto the field, making more productive use of their time and physical abilities.
A featured upcoming event for The Highest Point Foundation and Dashon is his annual
"Highest Point Youth Football Camp."
Bigger than ever, in 2010 the FREE camp for
underprivileged youths will be held at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA and
will include many NFL stars. More information available at Dashon's
website. |
| | |
| 49ers
fans were entertained with a fun evening that included an autograph session with
Dashon and his 49er teammates and free bowling. Also included was a raffle with
cool game-used Dashon (and other Niner players') equipment and prizes and game
tickets. Finally there was a Silent Auction benefiting Dashon's Foundation and
live art courtesy of SamCee
Art. 20% of all receipts collected during evening were generously
donated by STRIKE to The Highest Point Foundation. All in all, a night full of
entertainment that left everyone - fans, players, and SGA and STRIKE employees
- smiling.
