In
1965, "Broadway" Joe signed for an unheard-of $400,000
with AFL's NY Jets. He was 2-time All-AFL (1968-69) and All-NFL
(1972). It was the 1969 Super Bowl, however, that made him a football
legend. Namath defied the odds-makers with his "guarantee"
of victory a few days before the game, but then followed through
on his boast by leading the Jets to one of the most stupendous
upsets in pro football history. Many consider this Super Bowl
between the Jets and the Colts to be one of the "landmark"
football games of all time. Namath was named the game's Most Valuable
Player.

Entering
into Super Bowl XLII, the New York Giants franchise had won a
total of 6 NFL titles with their last Super Bowl win dating back
to 1990. Earning the chance to play against the undefeated New
England Patriots (18-0, including the playoffs) for the title,
things didnt seem to be leaning in their favor. Heavy underdogs,
the 2008 version of the NY Giants didnt listen to the naysayers
that said they were going to be beaten and beaten badly. The game
was tight the whole way and with 1:15 remaining in the game and
the Giants facing a 3rd and 5, Eli Manning escaped from multiple
defenders to complete a 32 yard pass to David Tyree. Tyree pinned
the ball against his helmet with one hand, and maintained control
all the way to the ground. This play would lead to the game-winning
touchdown for the Giants, as they would defeat the Patriots 17-14
in what many consider the greatest Super Bowl upset in history,
claiming their franchise's 7th NFL title (and 3rd Super Bowl victory).
Like the helmet that David Tyree used to pin Eli Mannings
drive saving pass, this Authentic New York Giants helmet is signed
by over 30 players from the '07/08 team including; Eli Manning,
Michael Strahan, Plaxico Burress, Brandon Jacobs, David Tyree,
among others. A limited edition offerring, with very few remaining
on the market, dont miss out on a chance to obtain a true
piece of NFL history and be the envy of New York Giants fans everywhere!
A collectible that will be passed down generation to generation,

Minnesota
RB Adrian Lewis Peterson, born in Palestine, Texas, is appropriately
nicknamed A.D. ("All Day") for his relentless running
style. Adrian played his college ball at the University
of Oklahoma where he set NCAA freshman rushing record with 1,925
yards. He was a first team All-American that year and runner-up
in the Heisman Trophy balloting. Peterson decided to forego
his senior year of college and enter the 2007 NFL Draft where
he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the seventh overall
pick. As a rookie in the NFL, Adrian broke numerous franchise
and league records for rushing yardage, foremost being the NFL
single-game rushing record. On November 4, 2007 he ran for a remarkable
296 yards against the San Diego Chargers. Following his stellar
first pro season, Peterson was a near-unanimous choice as the
NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. In the 2008 NFL Pro Bowl, Peterson
rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns, achieving the second
highest rushing total in Pro Bowl history. Peterson was awarded
the Pro Bowl MVP Award for that performance.
And he's come out of the gate hard in the 2008 season, leading
the NFL in rushing midway through the season. A flat-out stud
of a RB, Adrian is destined for NFL greatness. Get this awesome
authentic Vikings helmet hand-signed by Adrian with his special
Rookie of the Year "ROY"
inscription. Nothing is cooler than an NFL helmet and this beauty
would make a great gift for any football fan. But hurry, we only

QB
Jim Plunkett is one of Stanford's all-time great quarterbacks.
By the time his career at the Farm was over he had set and NCAA
record (at that time) for career total offense (7,887 yards) and
had passed for over 7,500 yards. In the "Year of the Quarterback,"
he was voted the 1970 Heisman Trophy (Stanford's only Heisman
Trophy winner), easily beating out Notre Dame's Joe Theismann
and Mississippi's Archie Manning. And he capped his Stanford career
by leading the Indians to an improbable 27-17 upset of unbeaten
Ohio State in the '71 Rose Bowl. Jim went on to be named AFL Rookie
of the year in '71 after being the first player chosen in the
NFL draft by the New England Patriots. Later in his career he
led the Oakland Raiders to Super Bowl victories in 1981 and '84,
being selected the Super Bowl MVP in the 1984 game. This
authentic Stanford helmet is hand-signed by Jim along with his
famous #16. [why

Fullback
Tom
Rathman's professional football career spanned nine years, the
first seven of which were with the San Francisco 49ers. While
in San Francisco, Tom was backfield mates with another Nebraska
alumnus, Roger
Craig. A selfless player, unsung hero in the 49ers'
success, and a bit of a throwback to "old school" football,
Tom spent much of his playing time providing devastating blocks
for Craig, helping the Niners capture two World Championships
(Super Bowl XXIII and XXIV). In Super Bowl XXIV, Rathman scored
two touchdowns in San Francisco's route of the Denver Broncos.
In 1989, he led all NFL running backs in receiving with 73 receptions
for 616 yards!
A
classic Niner, many cool collectibles were signed during Tom's
recent visit to Sports Gallery, including this authentic
49ers helmet. Tom even included his special "2x Super Bowl
Champ" inscription making this helmet a
great gift for any longtime 49ers fan. But hurry, we only have

Though
some may argue Lynn Swan and John Stallworth of the Steelers (or
even Cris Carter and Randy Moss of the Vikings), many football
experts consider Jerry Rice and John Taylor to be the greatest
NFL receiving tandem of All-Time. Jerry, of course, holds every
major career receiving record including career receptions, receiving
yards, and touchdowns - and is a member of the NFL's 75th Anniversary
Team. He was named NFL Player of the Year twice and received a
staggering 12 Pro Bowl invitations. And all John Taylor did was
consistently came up with big catches -- most notably the touchdown
on a 10-yard pass from Joe Montana with 34 seconds to play that
gave the Niners a 20-16 victory over the Bengals in Super Bowl
XXIII. The pair not only had excellent hands and good speed, but
they also were physical run blockers. And the two definitely separated
themselves from other receiving tandems by their postseason success,
namely three Super Bowl wins a piece. John Taylor signed this

Sports Gallery in-store appearance.

Dallas
QB Tony Romo played college football at Eastern Illinois University
in Charleston, Illinois. At Eastern Illinois, Romo was the first
player in school and converence history to win the Walter Payton
Award, given annually to the Nation's top player at the NCAA Division
I-AA level. Romo attended the 2003 NFL Combine, but, despite intriguing
some scouts, went undrafted during the 2003 NFL Draft. Throughout
the draft, Romo was assured by Sean Payton of the Cowboys' interest
(Romo was also intensely pursued by Denver head coach Mike Shanahan),
and shortly afterwards was signed as an undrafted rookie free
agent by the Cowboys. The 2006 was Tony's breakthrough year with
the Cowboys. That season Romo replaced then starting-quarterback
Drew Bledsoe after halftime in the Cowboys Week 6 matchup
against the Giants and Tony and the Cowboys have never looked
back. In 2006, Romo would lead the Cowboys to the playoffs, earning
himself a trip to Hawaii as a pro-bowl quarterback in the process.
And in 2007, Romot took his game to the next level setting Cowboy
team records for yardage (4,211), touchdown passes (36), passing
completions (335), and 300-yard games (seven). The Cowboys also
won 13 games that season, tying a club record and Tony earned
his second trip to the Pro Bowl. One of the premier QBs in the
NFL, Tony hand-signed this very cool replica helmet in bold blue
sharpie right by the famous star. A great gift for any Cowboys
(or Tony) fan! And, for a limited time, get a Free UV-protective

QB
Kenny Stabler was an Crimson Tide and Raider great. At Alabama
he was First-Team All-SEC, an All-American, and directed the
Crimson Tide to two National Championships. Following his stellar
collegiate career, Stabler went on to star in the NFL, winning
the Super Bowl in 1977 with the Raiders, where he was a cult
favorite of the Raider Nation. He played a total of 15 seasons
(1970-84) in the NFL with the Raiders, Houston Oilers and New
Orleans Saints, where he was a 4× Pro Bowl selection,
2× All-Pro selection, Super Bowl XI champion, NFL 1970s
All-Decade Team selection, 1974 NFL MVP, and led the NFL in
Passing Touchdowns in 1974 and 1976. But he is most famous as
a Raider with his long hair, partying ways and reckless (but
successful play) at QB. Kenny's quote on a Sports
Gallery Exclusive Display pretty much says it all:
"I
used to read the playbook by the light of the
juke box...Why would anyone need 8 hours of sleep,
just to play a 3 hour game?"
Gotta
love "The Snake!"
This authentic Raiders helmet is hand-signed by Kenny in black
sharpie. A great gift for any fan of the Silver & Black. [why

John
Taylor played WR for the 49ers from 1987 to 1995 and with Hall
of Fame teammate Jerry Rice formed arguably the greatest one-two
receiver tandem in 49ers, and perhaps football, history. Taylor
is best know for his winning 10-yard touchdown pass from Joe Montana
during the final seconds of Super Bowl XXIII in 1989. One of the
great moments in 49ers' history, rivaling even "The
Catch" by Dwight Clark - in fact it is often referred
to as "The Catch II" by the 49er Faithful. But it was
the season after his Super Bowl winning touchdown reception that
Taylor established himself as one of the top receivers in the
NFL when John recorded 60 receptions for 1,077 yards and ten touchdowns.
An NFL Pro Bowler in 1988 and 1989, Taylor has three Super Bowl
rings from his years with the Niners - Super Bowls XXIII, XXIV,
and XXIX.
At John's recent
Sports Gallery in-store appearance, he signed many
very cool 49er collectibles including this authentic 49ers helmet.
A great collectible from a great player at a great price. But

Linebacker
Lawrence Taylor, an All-America at North Carolina, was the first-round
draft pick of the New York Giants in the 1981 NFL Draft. A dominant
force on defense, Taylor was named first-team All-Pro in each
of his first nine seasons. He had the speed to run past offensive
linemen and the strength to out-muscle them. Starting in Taylors
first season, the Giants began a 10-season streak in which they
made the playoffs six times and won two Super Bowls. Although
Taylors accomplishments are many, he recorded his finest
statistical season in 1986 when he was named the NFLs MVP,
becoming the first defensive player to do so since 1971. That
season, Taylor recorded a career high 20.5 sacks, 105 total tackles,
five passes defensed, and two forced fumbles. Taylor recorded
132.5 quarterback sacks (not including 9.5 sacks he recorded in
1981, since the sack didnt become an official NFL statistic
until 1982), 1,088 tackles, 33 forced fumbles, 10 fumble recoveries,
and nine interceptions during his career. He was selected to play
in 10 Pro Bowls and in 1994 was named to the NFLs 75th Anniversary
All-Time Team. This authentic helmet is hand-signed by LT in silver.

LaDainian
Tomlinson
"#21" Retro Authentic &
"31 TD's" Modern Replica
San
Diego Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson was selected out of Texas
Christian in the 1st round of the 2001 NFL Draft. Nice pick. In
just seven seasons, L.T. is already the Chargers all-time
leading rusher, has been named to five Pro Bowls (2002, 2004,
2005, 2006, and 2007) and received four First-Team All-Pro selections
(2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007). But it was 2006 that clearly defined
LaDainian as one of the best backs to have ever played the game.
That season, Tomlinson set an NFL record by scoring 19 touchdowns
in a span of 6 games, including a franchise record 4 touchdowns
in games against the San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals and
the Denver Broncos. He was the first to score three TD's in three
straight games, and the first to have three games of four or more
TD's in one season. He became the fastest player ever to score
100 touchdowns and with the first touchdown against Kansas City
on December 17, he surpassed most points in a season by an NFL
player (a record that had stood for 46 years). Tomlinson would
finish his record breaking season with 2,323 yards from scrimmage
(combined rushing and receiving) and 31 touchdowns (28 rushing,
3 receiving). Needless to say he was also awarded the 2006 NFL
Most Valuable Player Awards, among other awards.
We are offering two LaDainian Tomlinson Helmets this season. One
is an authentic white retro Chargers helmet and includes his famous
"#21" inscription.
The other is a blue replica modern Chargers helmet and includes
the special "31 TD's 2006"
inscription in honor of LaDainian's record-breaking year. Two
great collectibles from one of the all-time greats at the RB position!
Brian
Urlacher, Mike Singletary, & Dick Butkus
Monsters of the Midway
$1,195
"Monsters
of the Midway"
pretty much says it all. A nickname orginally given to the Chicago
Bears of early 40's, the moniker has stuck some sixty years later.
And, more often than not, it is used to describe the Bears impressive
middle linebacker lineage, three of whom signed this special helmet.
Dick Butkus, a Chicago native and two-time Illinois All-America,
played as the Chicago Bears' middle linebacker for nine years.
In his rookie season Butkus was named first-team All-NFL, an honor
he would record five more times. Butkus also played in the Pro
Bowl following his rookie season and in each of the next seven
years. A Chicago Bears classic, Butkus was elected to the Pro
Football Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility.
Mike Singletary played his entire career for the Chicago Bears
where he was a ten-time Pro Bowl selection, two-time NFL Defensive
Player of the Year and a member of the All-80's Team. Oh, and
he was also a Super Bowl Champion - XX. Elected to the Pro Football
Hall of Fame in 1998, Singletary was considered the heart of the
dominant Bears defense of the 1980's. Current
Chicago Bears middle linebacker Brian Urlacher is a beast. His
527 tackles in his first three NFL seasons was the most ever for
a Bears player during such as span. NFL Defensive Rookie of the
Year Urlacher has gone on to be a six-time Pro Bowler and an an
iconic figure for the Chicago Bears, smashing records of Bears
greats Dick Butkus and Mike Singletary. In 2005, Urlacher was
awarded the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award while leading
the Bears to the play-offs. Three great players signing
one great Bears collectible. This Authentic, triple-signed helmet
would make a great gift for any Bears fan. [why

Patrick
Willis is a beast on defense for the San Francisco 49ers. The
Linebacker out of Mississippi was the 11th overall pick in the
2007th draft and has been leading tearing up the NFL ever since.
At Mississippi, Patrick was awarded SEC Defensive Player of the
Year, first team All-SEC, consensus first-team All-American, and
was the winner of the prestigious Dick Butkus Award, given to
the most outstanding linebacker in college football. And Patrick
kept it going in the NFL. In his first NFL game, Willis recorded
11 tackles, including 9 solo, and a forced fumble as the 49ers
defeated the Arizona Cardinals in dramatic fashion by a score
of 20-17. Willis finished the 2007 campaign with an NFL-leading
174 total tackles, being selected to the Pro Bowl, along with
NFC Defensive Rookie of the Year, NFL Defensive Rookie of the
Year, and First Team All-Pro by the Associated Press. Patrick
was the only rookie in the NFL to make the AP All-Pro squad and
the first Defensive Rookie from the 49ers to make the Pro Bowl
since Ronnie Lott in 1981. And in 2008 & 2009, Willis did
it all over again, once again being voted to the Pro Bowl, this
time as a starter. Says 49ers coach Mike Singletary referring
to Ray Lewis and Patrick Willis: "I've
coached two of the greatest linebackers one that has already
proven to be one of the greatest and one who will prove to be,
barring health issues." He's THAT
good.
These awesome 49er helmets - both authentic and replica are great
collectibles and an investment in a player that is just going
to get better - a scary thought for NFL offenses.
San
Francisco QB Steve Young was the 49ers starting quarterback from
1991-1999. Steve's Hall of Fame NFL career included: the highest
career passer rating in NFL History (96.8), two-time NFL MVP,
a record-tying six NFL passing titles, seven Pro Bowl teams, 33,124
yards and 232 touchdowns passing, 4,239 yards and 43 touchdowns
rushing, and six TD passes and Super Bowl XXIX MVP Award in the
49ers' 49-26 win over the Chargers. Whew! An amazing career for
this amazing QB talent - one who unbelievably didn't learn to
throw a football until he was 18! Another in a long-line of quarterback
greats to play for the 49ers, Steve is a 2005 Hall of Famer inductee.
This very cool authentic 49ers helmet is
hand-signed by Steve right above the famous SF emblem. A great
gift for any Niners fan! [why
