Ben Hogan at 1950 US Open - Click to Enlarge

Ben Hogan new!
1950 US Open 16x20 (Unsigned)
$199 Web Special! $169

Texas native Ben Hogan began his professional golfing career in 1931 and was by most accounts the greatest golfer of his time and one of the greatest of all-time. In 1948 alone, Ben Hogan won an astounding 10 tournaments. Tragically, the following winter a head-on collision with a bus nearly killed him. With a double fracture of the pelvis, a fractured collar bone, left ankle fracture, chipped rib, and near fatal blood clots, he would suffer lifelong circulation problems and other physical limitations. His doctors said he might never walk again, let alone play golf competitively. However, he not only played again, he won again...and again...and again. In one of the most famous comebacks in the annals of sports, Hogan defeated Lloyd Mangrum and George Fazio in an 18 hole playoff at Merion C.C. to win the 1950 U.S. Open. Hogan went on to record 12 more PGA wins, including 6 Majors. He even received a ticker-tape parade in New York City after winning the 1953 Open Championship. And this astounding comeback all started with this historic shot. A still-weakened Hogan faced an approach shot of more than 200 yards on the 18th Hole. Ben pulled out his 1-iron (1-iron!) and stuck his shot within 40 feet of the hole. His eventual par on the hole forced the play-off which he won. And a golf legend was born... This handsome framed unsigned 16x20 photograph of that legendary shot would make a fine addition to any golfer's home or office. And for a limited time it is a Web Special!

Did you know? It is a well known fact the Ben Hogan, one of the greatest ball strikers of all time, never had a competitive ace (hole-in-one). Sharon Ray, his longtime secretary, claims Hogan never made one in leisure play either. Author Jim Dodson says that in the early days, pins were made of hickory so when Hogan would hit the flagstick, the ball would bounce off the green. He said Hogan stopped aiming at the cup because of that.

Phil Mickelson Masters "Celebration" 16x20 Photograph - Click to Enlarge

Phil Mickelson
2004 Masters Champion 16x20 (Unsigned)
$199 Web Special! $169

What a fantastic finish to one of the most exciting championships in golf history! Phil Mickelson's gallant charge in the final nine of the 2004 Masters left goose bumps, especially when Phil made the 18-footer on the final hole for birdie and a one-stroke win over Ernie Els. The victory erased Mickelson's name off the top of the list of "Best Player Not To Win a Major" and thrust him into the upper echelon of great golf personalities (especially after his 2nd Major win at the 2005 PGA Championship and third at the 2006 Masters). Of course Tiger is still the most popular golfer in the world, but if he isn't careful he could very easily be replaced by Phil, a modern day Arnold Palmer in terms of his connection to the fans. There isn't a better person to take over Tiger's reins than Mickelson. This great unsigned 16"x20" photograph is the famous shot of Phil jumping for joy after his winning birdie putt on 18. Handsomely framed and matted with a commemorative plaque, this is a great remembrance of one of the most memorable Majors ever. And a great gift for any golf fan.

Did you know? Phil, a righthander, became a lefthanded golfer when he tried to mirror his father's swing. When his Dad hit balls into a net in the Mickelson yard, 18-month old Phil Jr. would wander too close. Dad would tell Phil to stand opposite him so he could keep an eye on the tyke while he hit balls. Pretty soon, Phil started to mirror what his father, a righthander was doing and thus "Lefty" was born.

Jack Nicklaus 6-Time Winner Presents Arnold Palmer With His 4th and Final Green Jacket
Augusta National - 1964

So reads the plaque on this unique bit of golf history. Tied for the lead after the first round, Arnold Palmer led at the conclusion of play the next three days to become the first four-time winner of the Masters. Palmer defeated defending champion Jack Nicklaus and Dave Marr by six strokes. He scored three rounds in the 60s and a final round 70. A dominating performance start to finish. This very cool photograph shows Jack presenting Arnold with his final green jacket (it would be his last Masters win) in front of a jubilant crowd. "The King" 8x10 Photograph Display

“There never has been anyone like him
before in the game of golf,
and there probably won't be another
like him again.”

So says Jack Nicklaus (and the plate on the 8x10 Sports Gallery Exclusive Display) of Arnold Palmer. Born in Pennsylvania, Arnold Palmer is one of the greatest golfers of the modern era and probably closer to the hearts of the American public than any golfer before, or after, him. Palmer, affectionately known as "The King," was made for television when it arrived in the 1960s. His great personality shone through and earned him enormous popularity. His fans, known as "Arnie's Army," often numbered in the thousands at tournaments and were quite boisterous in their appreciation. In his career, Palmer won 62 PGA Tour events, including the British Open twice, the US Open once and the Masters four times. Elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974, Arnold will always be fondly remembered for his great achievements and huge personality. These two awesome vintage B&W photographs are both hand-signed by Arnie. The 8x10 display includes a commemorative plate highlighting Arnold's great golf achievements. Both are Sports Gallery Quality Framed in black wood, UV-protective glass (very important for signature protection!) and classic double matting. Great and timeless collectibles (and investment!) that would look impressive in any office or den.

Pebble Beach Golf Links new!
18th Hole Deluxe

$299
Pebble Beach is larger than life, boasting mature stands of trees, roller coaster greens and bunkers in which you could easily hide one of the bigger sport utility vehicles. If it appears as if the course has taken a hundred years to develop this way, its because it nearly has. The first 9-hole track was laid out along the cove in 1913. Over the years, Pebble Beach Golf Links has inspired some of golf's most memorable moments. Perhaps it is its stunning location; perhaps its famously challenging reputation. Whatever the reason, Pebble Beach is considered one of the worlds' great golf courses. The U.S. Open Championship has been played at Pebble Beach four times, most recently in the year 2000 for its 100th playing. This stunning 16x20 aerial photograph of Pebble Beach's famed 18th Hole (and 17th Green) is an absolute beauty. And it is deluxed framed in mahogany and classic matting. Just a stunning piece of Sports Art than any golfer would cheirsh.

Sam Snead Autographed "Slammin' Sam" Photograph - Click to Enlarge

Sam Snead
"Slammin' Sam" 16x20 (signed)
$529 Sold < Find me one! >
"Slammin' Sam" Snead could hit the ball a country mile with a swing that was the sweetest in golf. "It was a gift, something you can't teach," two-time U.S. Open champion Curtis Strange said. "His hands looked like they were born to have a golf club in them." Snead, now deceased, was one of golf's greatest players with seven major championship and a record 81 victories on the PGA Tour. "He brought so much to the game with his great swing and the most fluid motion ever to grace a golf course," Jack Nicklaus said. Sam was the only player to win sanctioned tournaments in six decades. He was also the oldest player to win on the PGA Tour, at age 52 in the 1965 Greater Greensboro Open, and remained a threat well into his 60s. He tied for third in the 1974 PGA Championship at age 62. Five years later, Snead became the youngest player to shoot his age -- 67 -- in the Quad Cities Open. If that wasn't enough, he shot a 66 two days later. Snead was famous for his straw hat, cocky grin and homespun humor, all on display in the vintage 16x20 B&W photograph. Hand-signed by Sam before his death, this classic is Sports Gallery Quality Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass and classic doulbe matting. A great piece of golf history, this wonderful piece of Sports Art would make a great gift for any golf fan.
