Mario Lemieux
$1,089
"Lemieux" translated means "The Best" and few can argue that Mario is one of the greatest players to have ever played in the NHL. Considered a prolific scorer, "Super Mario" is the only player (at the time of his initial "retirement" in 1997) to average more than two points a game. He has also overcome Hodgkin's Disease, a debilitating back injury, and saved his beloved Pittsburgh Penguins from bankruptcy by forming (and financing) a new ownership group. The question hockey fans have to ask is what if Mario Lemieux hadn't been forced to deal with cancer, back problems and most recently an irregular heartbeat? What if he had played the 1994-95 season or from 1997 to 2000? Lemieux finished his NHL career 7th on the all-time scoring list with 690 goals and 1,033 assists in 915 regular-season games. He also won two Stanley Cups with the Penguins. "Talent-wise, there's no one better," said Red Wings defenseman Chris Chelios, who broke into the league with Lemieux in 1984. Chelios' teammate Robert Lang played with Lemieux in the early 1990s. Lang also played alongside Wayne Gretzky while a rookie with the Kings. "He's one of the only guys who could have challenged Gretzky had he played long enough," Lang said. Wayne Gretzky himself had the following to say about Mario at his retirement: "You don't replace players like Mario Lemieux. Mario's a great hockey player and a good person. He's meant so much to the game and done so many great things. The game will miss him." A true hockey legend, this hand-signed Penguins jersey is a classic piece of Sports Art. Sports Gallery Quality Framed, this beauty would make a great gift for any hockey fan.

Jeremy Roenick
SJ Authentic Home Teal w/ "500th Goal" Inscrip
& Road White (no inscription) WEB SPECIAL!
(Jeremy signature from exclusive sports gallery signing)

Forward Jeremy Roenick, a native of Boston, MA, is a nine-time NHL All-Star. Finishing his career with the San Jose Sharks, Jeremy made his NHL debut on October 6, 1988 with the Chicago Blackhawks. Jeremy has also played on numerous USA teams including winning the silver medal-winning squad at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City. And on November 10, 2007, while playing for the Sharks, Jeremy made US hockey history by becoming only the 3rd American in history to score 500 career NHL goals. On January 10, 2008, Roenick's 503rd goal vs. the Vancouver Canucks placed him 2nd on the list of all-time American-born NHL career goals, trailing only Mike Modano of the Dallas Stars. Jeremy has not only brought veteran leadership to the talented Sharks but he's also playing some terrific hockey at the twilight of his fabulous NHL career. Just check out his inspired two-goal, two-assist performance in Game 7 of the 2007-08 Stanley Cup Playoffs vs. the Calgary Flames for proof. Jeremy is simply one of the greatest American-born hockey players of all-time. And recently, Jeremy made a very special Sports Gallery signing appearance during which he signed all kinds of very cool collectibles including these hard-to find authentic Jeremy Roenick Sharks jersey. Three things make these collectibles extra special. One is that they are an authentic jersey - the same jersey that the players wear on the ice with the straps and ties. The second is the inscription on the teal jersey: "500 Goals 11/10/07." And the final is framing: quality all the way with thick black wood, UV-protective glass, and classic suede double matting. Two great pieces of Sports Art from a surefirer Hall of Famer! But hurry, we only have a limited number from our signing!

Joe Thornton Autographed "New" Jersey - Click to Enlarge

Joe Thornton new!
San Jose Sharks

$1,095
Joe Thornton grew up in London, Ontario, idolizing hockey legend Wayne Gretzky (join the club!). As a teenager, Joe was a standout hockey player who dominated the junior hockey leagues. Joe played for Sault Ste. Marie of the OHL in 1996-97 and logged in 41 goals and 81 assists. Following that season, the Boston Bruins made Joe the number one overall draft pick in the 1997 NHL Draft. Joe played his first five seasons in the NHL for the Boston Bruins. His best season came in the 2002-03 season when he recorded 101 points and was named an NHL All Star. Midway through the 2005-06 season, Joe was traded to the San Jose Sharks in a blockbuster four-player deal. Joe immediately made an impact for his new team as he led the league in assists and finished the season with 125 points. He was rewarded with the Hart Memorial Trophy - the NHL's award for the MVP. The following season, Joe racked up 90 assists for the second straight season, becoming only the third player in NHL history to do so. Joe Thornton is as complete of a player as they come. He is blessed with superb vision and the ability to pass. He can score goals in every possible way - slap-shots, wrist-shots and breakaways. Ultra competitive and tough as nails on the ice, Joe's tall and muscular physique makes him a threat on both the offensive and defensive sides. Many think Joe has the potential to go down as one of the best players in the history of the NHL! This sweet Joe Thornton "new" jersey is is hand-signed by Joe and Quality Framed in thick black wood,UV-protective glass (very important for signature protection!) and classic Sharks double-matting. A great collectible from perhaps the greatest Shark to lace up the skates.
