Jonathan
Cheechoo new! |
| $149 |
Jonathan
Earl Cheechoo is one of the most exciting young players in hockey
today. When this RW made his debut for the San Jose Sharks in the
2002/2003 season, Jonathan became the first member of the Moose
Cree Nation to play in the NHL, which isn't totally surprising given
that his hometown of Moose Factory, Ontario is on a five-square
mile island in Hudson Bay, 500 miles north of Toronto. Cheechoo's
rise as one of the top scorers in the League has
been surprising though. In the 2003/04 season, his 2nd, Jonathan
recorded 28 goals and scored one of the most remarkable goals in
Sharks' history during the the play-offs. In the Sharks 4-1 win
over the Colorado Avalanche, Cheechoo let the puck slide between
his skates, stuck his stick back between his legs and directed the
puck back at the goal, past Colorado goalie David Aebischer. A goal-scorer's
goal that still gets plenty of highlight play years later. And 2005/06
was even better for Jonathan as he earned the Maurice "Rocket"
Richard Trophy as the top goal scorer in the entire NHL with 56
goals. Paired with new Shark Joe
Thornton, winner of the 2005/06 Art Ross Trophy for most
points, Jonathan and Joe became just the fourth set of teammates
since 1979-80 to sweep the scoring awards. A big-time NHL scorer
that is just starting to capture the hockey world's attention, invest
in Cheechoo collectibles before they increase in value. This official
San Jose Sharks puck is hand-signed by Jonathan. All aboard the
Cheechoo Train!

Web
Special! $49.95 |
Anaheim
Mighty Ducks Forward Jeff Friesen came up huge in the New Jersey
Devils in their 2003 Stanley Cup run. After scoring three of New
Jersey's four game-winning goals in the Eastern Conference finals,
Friesen broke the ice with a second-period tally to spark the Devils
to a 3-0 victory over the Mighty Ducks in Game 1 of the Stanley
Cup Finals. And in Game 7 he did even better, scoring two goals
to lead the Devils to victory and bring Lord Stanley's Cup back
to New Jersey. It just doesn't get any better for a goal-scorer
like Friesen. And now he's doing much the same for the Ducks in
their 2006 play-off run. This former Shark (and fan favorite at
the Tank!) hand-signed this official NHL puck.

Wayne
Gretzky has been called the greatest player in hockey history by
many. At the time of his retirement from the NHL, he held or shared
61 League scoring records, including most career goals (1,016) and
assists (2,222). Many believe his record of 92 goals in a regular
season will never be broken. In his 20-year career with Edmonton,
LA, and NY, Wayne won four Stanley Cups and 8 Hart Trophies as the
League MVP. A great puck from "The Great One."

The
vintage Bobby Hull was among the fastest and most exciting skaters
and owner of the most intimidating shot in the league. The Golden
Jet, as he was affectionately called, was instrumental in two hockey
leagues in two decades. With the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL,
Bobby won seven goal-scoring titles, three overall scoring championships,
two Most Valuable Player Awards, twelve successive All-Star Games
and, most importantly, for winning the Stanley Cup in 1961, Chicago's
first since 1938. Then the flamboyant left wing's signing with the
Winnipeg Jets gave instant credibility to a new league, the World
Hockey Association, in the 1970s. This Point Anne, Ontario native
played with younger brother Dennis in Chicago and is half of the
only father-son combination to win the Hart Trophy as his son Brett
won the MVP award in 1991. These days Hull jokes that his claim
to fame is being the father of Brett Hull, but make no mistake,
he became a Hall of Famer in 1983 for meritorious achievement of
his own through a long and very distinguished hockey career. This
very cool Blackhawks puck is hand-signed by Bobby along with his
famous #9. A great gift for any true hockey fan.

"Lemieux"
translated means "The Best" and few can argue that Mario
is one of the greatest players to have ever played in the NHL.
Considered a prolific scorer, "Super Mario" is the only
player (at the time of his initial "retirement" in 1997)
to average more than two points a game. He has also overcome Hodgkin's
Disease, a debilitating back injury, and saved his beloved Pittsburgh
Penguins from bankruptcy by forming (and financing) a new ownership
group. On December 27, 2000 he returned to playing hockey for
Pittsburgh and assisted on a goal just 33 seconds into the game.
A true hockey legend, Mario hand-signed this Penguins team puck
in silver sharpie. A great gift for any hockey fan.

Born
in Aneroid, Saskatchewan, Center Patrick Marleau was the San Jose
Sharks 1st pick in the 1997 NHL Draft and the 2nd pick overall.
A gifted forward, Marleau is an excellent passer and finisher.
And in 2003/2004, Patrick became an All-Star representing the
Sharks in the 2004 All-Star Game. Captain and leading scorer for
the Sharks in 2004, Marleau has emerged as one of the bright young
stars of the NHL. In fact he was named to Canada's 2004 World
Cup team, an incredible honor for the then 24-year old. And now
Marleau is paired with Joe
Thornton on the Sharks for perhaps the best one-two
center punch in all of hockey. Watch out for Patrick and the Sharks
in 2006/07! A hockey superstar for years to come, Patrick signed
(along with his #12) a limited number of Official San Jose Sharks
and Team Canada (rare!) pucks at his recent
signing at Sports Gallery. Sure to go up in value in
the years to come, these are great gifts for any hockey fan.

Dual-Signed
San Jose Sharks Puck

Wow,
talk about a nice one-two punch at the Center position! With Joe
Thornton and Patrick Marleau each anchoring a line for the Sharks,
there is no talk of #1 and #2 lines in San Jose. Just two terrific
lines...with two premier centers...reeking havoc in the NHL. And
both entered the NHL the same year, drafted 1st (Joe by the Boston
Brunis) and 2nd (Marleau by the Sharks) in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.
And thanks to a blockbuster four-player deal between Boston and
San Jose in 2006, these two hockey superstars are now playing together
in San Jose. Look out for the Sharks in 2006/07, Joe and Patrick's
first full season together (and don't forget Jonathan Cheechoo!).
It should be quite a season in San Jose! Signed by Patrick (along
with his #12) at his recent
Sports Gallery appearance, this official San Jose Sharks
puck is signed by BOTH these hockey
superstars. You won't find this dual-signed puck anywhere else.
But hurry, we only have a few left from our signing!

Evgeni
Nabokov new! |
| $129
|
|
Born
in Kamenogorsk, USSR, San Jose Sharks goalie Evgeni Nabokov has
quickly become one of the premier netminders in the NHL. In 2000-01
he won the Calder Trophy as the top NHL rookie. Evgeni led the
Sharks to a Pacific Division title in 2001-02 and was selected
as one of "The Hottest People, Places and Things on the Planet"
in the hockey player category in the January/February 2002 edition
of Gear magazine. In 2003-2004, Nabokov led the Sharks to the
Western Conference Finals, the furthest San Jose has ever reached
in the NHL Play-offs. And in 2007/08 Evgeni became an All-Star
while once again leading the Sharks to the post-season. Easily
one of the top five goaltenders in the game today. Evgeni has
hand-signed this official Sharks NHL puck in silver sharpie. A
great collectible from one of the best between the pipes right
now in the NHL.

Joe
Thornton new!
San
Jose Sharks |
| $149
|
Drafted
1st overall in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft by the Boston Bruins, Thornton
played six stellar seasons for Boston. With his imposing 6-4, 220-pound
frame, this native of St. Thomas, Ontario is everything you want
in a hockey player. A three-time NHL All-Star and perennial member
of Team Canada, Joe is one of the most dominant players in the game
today. And now he's a Shark! On November 30, 2005, Thornton was
traded to San Jose in a blockbuster four-player deal. Sharks fan
celebrated! They finally have the A-List, franchise player they
have long sought. And did Joe ever deliver! In his first season
in San Jose, all he did was win the Hart Trophy (NHL MVP) and Art
Ross Trophy (most points in the League with 125), all while "assisting"
Jonathan
Cheechoo in earning the Maurice "Rocket" Richard
Trophy for most goals in the League (56). An unbelievable scoring
tandem that will be filling the net with pucks for many years in
San Jose. This official Sharks puck is hand-signed by Joe along
with his number 19. A great collectible from perhaps the greatest
player to wear a Sharks sweater! [Also, see
our Joe Thornton & Patrick Marleau dual-signed
puck!]
