Fans Celebrate Super Bowl Years at Sports Gallery

August 27th, 2005, 49ers Great Roger Craig made
a special in-store appearance at our Carmel,
California Gallery.
Roger was a key part of the vaunted San Francisco
offense during three Super Bowl Championship seasons.
He is best known as the first player in NFL history
to gain more than 1,000 yards receiving and more
than 1,000 yards rushing in a single season. The
NFC Offensive Player of the Year in 1988, Roger
was also an All-NFL choice that year and a four-time
Pro-Bowler. Craig scored three touchdowns when San
Francisco beat the Miami Dolphins 38-16 in Super
Bowl XIX and was selected the Super Bowl MVP.
Signing
for two hours, Roger was a fantastic guest, graciously
posing for pictures and signing 49er (and even some
Raider) collectibles. And he never stopped smiling
the whole two hours. A very special appearance by
a very special football player and person.

for an Authentic NFL Throwback 49ers Jersey hand-signed
by Roger. Gil's winning ticket was chosen by Roger
himself during his appearance (see picture below).
