Chastain
World Cup Celebration 8x10 |
Ms.
Versatile, the totally two-footed Brandi Chastain started at the
left back position for the United States 1999 Women's World Cup
team. And it was in the Championship Game of that World Cup that
this San Jose, CA native provided one of the greatest moments in
the history of women's sports with her clinching penalty kick on
the USA's fifth and final shot. And almost more memorable than her
laser shot past Chinese goalkeeper Gao Hong was her reaction afterwards.
In a spontaneous moment of pure joy, Brandi peeled off her shirt,
clutching it in her hands as she fell to her knees. A classic moment
that graced the cover of Time, Newsweek and Sports Illustrated in
the weeks that followed the US victory. Brandi signed this 8x10
photograph of that classic sports moment during her Sports
Gallery Appearance. Quality Framed and matted in thick
black wood, UV-protective glass and classic black & white double
matting, this collectible would make a wonderful gift for any fan
of Brandi or the "World's Game."

Sports Illustrated Cover 8x10 |
After
Brandi's 1999 World Cup clinching penalty kick against China, she
and the rest of the gold-medal U.S. team graced the cover of numerous
publications including Time, Newsweek, and this edition of Sports
Illustrated. "Yes" reads the magazine headline, followed
by "Why Brandi Chastain and the U.S. Women's Soccer Team were
Unbeatable." Brandi signed this digital copy of this famous
cover (showing her legendary jersey-removing celebration) during
her Visit to Sports
Gallery, along with "6USA," Brandi's number
and, of course, team. Handsomely framed and matted in thick black
wood, this is a timeless soccer collectible.

her teammates, Brandi still wanted to celebrate her team's win in

provided the winning margin in this historic win. This great photograph

Jubilation 8x10 |
Brandi Chastain first represented the United States on April 18,
1991 against Mexico. She came off the bench to score five consecutive
goals in a 12-0 USA win, in what was a qualifying game for the first
FIFA Women's World Cup. But it was in 1999 when Chastain became
a household name after her World Cup winning penatly kick...and,
of course, jersey removal. Afterwards, she was immediately signed
to a million dollar contract by Nike and became one of the most
recognized female athletes in all of sports. This great photograph
shows Brandi with her jersey still on in a moment of pure jubilation.
A great shot this 8x10 photograph was hand-signed by Brandi during
her recent Visit
to Sports Gallery and is Sports Galelry Quality
Framed. And for a limited time a Web

Yet another great photograph of this historic moment in USA sports.

Landon
Donovan
Sports Illustrated |
| $299 |
Landon
Donovan is arguably the most talented, and best-known, soccer player
in the United States today. In MLS play, Donovan has dominated,
leading the San Jose Earthquakes to MLS Championships in 2001 and
2003. Now a member of the Los Angeles Galaxy, Donovan was named
U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year in 2003. But it is the on the international
stage that Donovan has really shined. After starring in the 2000
Summer Olympics, Landon grabbed the soccer world's attention in
the 2002 World Cup, where he scored two goals and was integral to
the United States' run to the quarterfinals. He even had a rare
four-goal game against Cuba in 2003. On April 11, 2006, Donovan
became the United States' all-time assist leader with 23 when he
set up Ben Olsen. Without a doubt, the face of United States soccer
and a big reason for USA's rise as a soccer powerhouse. This terrific

Mia
Hamm new!
On The Attack 16x20 and 8x10 |
Mia
is widely recognized as the world's best all-around women's soccer
player. Having played collegiately at UNC and leading her team
to four consecutive NCAA championships, she inherited the nickname
"Jordan" (after another famous UNC alum) because of
her athletic ability on the field and sportsmanship, determination
and commitment off it. In Atlanta at the 1996 Centennial Olympic
Games she lead the U.S. team to Gold in front of 80,000 screaming
fans in Athens, Georgia. Never in history had so many spectators
come out to watch a women's sporting event. Until 1999 that is
when the Mia-led USA took home the Championship in front of 40
million viewers in this country alone and sold over 650,000 tickets,
including sellouts at Giants Stadium and the Rose Bowl. And as
her crowning glory Mia led the USA to yet another Olympic Gold
Medal, this time at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece. Put simply
Mia Hamm IS women's soccer in
the U.S. This terrific action shot of Mia Hamm on the attack is
hand-signed by Mia (along with her famous number "9")
and Sports Gallery Quality
Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass (very
important for signature protection!) and USA red suede mating
with blue trim. Available in both 8x10 and 16x20, this is a beautiful
piece of sports art celebrating a women's sports icon.

Mia
Hamm new!
Goodbye Mia! |
| $249 |
What
an amazing career...On May 14, 2004, soccer legend Mia Hamm announced
her retirement effective after the 2004 Summer Olympics, expressing
an interest in starting a family with husband (and Los Angeles Dodger)
Nomar Garciaparra. A sad day for the world of soccer, but the goals,
records, and honors kept coming for Mia right to the end. In March
2004, Hamm and former U.S.A. teammate Michelle Akers were the only
two women, and the only two Americans, named to the FIFA 100, a
list of the 125 greatest living soccer players selected by Pelé
and commissioned by FIFA. And in a friendly game against Australia
on July 21, 2004, Hamm scored her 150th international goal. This
match also marked her 259th international appearance; only her teammate
Kristine Lilly played in more internationals. And, of course, she
helped lead Team USA to a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics
and was chosen by her fellow U.S. Olympians to carry the American
flag at the Athens Closing Ceremonies. In her final game on December
8, 2004 against Mexico at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California,
Hamm assisted on two goals in the USA's 5-0 victory over Mexico.
Hamm retired with and amazing total of 158 international goals,
at the time more than fifty ahead of any other player (male or female)
in the history of soccer. Truly the Michael
Jordan of Soccer. This symbolic photo of Hamm leaving the
field is hand-signed by Mia (along with her famous number "9")
in silver sharpie and Sports Gallery Quality
Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass, and
USA red suede mating with blue trim. A great collectible from one
of the greatest to have ever played the sport of soccer.

Pelé new!
Breakaway 8x10 and 16x20 Photograph |
"I
was born for soccer,
just as Beethoven was born for music."
Arrogant
and pompous words perhaps, except when they are spoken by Edson
Arantes do Nascimento, the Brazilian genius known throughout the
football world as Pelé. The most famous footballer of his
generation...or any...Pelé joined Brazil's Santos Football
Club in 1956 and stayed with the club through his retirement in
1974, helping the team to nine championships in 18 years. Pelé
also played on four Brazilian World Cup teams, including the country's
three World Cup Champions in 1958, 1962 and 1970. The scorer of
1,283 first class goals - 12 of them in World Cup final tournaments
- Pelé is to soccer what Muhammad
Ali is to boxing. An international icon that transcends
his sport and his country. Everybody loves Pelé! This vintage
b&w photograph shows Pelé blowing by a defender, a
familiar sight during his playing days. Available in both 8x10
and 16x20 sizes, these classic shots were hand-signed by Pelé
at a recent (and very rare) U.S. signing. Sports Gallery Quality
Framed in thick mahogany, UV-protective glass (very
important for signature protection!) and classic double matting,
this is a timeless soccer collectible and an elegant piece of
Sports Art.

Pelé
Bicycle Kick 8x10 and 16x20 Photograph |
Soccer
legend Pelé led Brazil's Santos Football Club to nine championships
and the Brazilian World Cup team to three victories (1958, 1962
and 1970). The 1958 final was perhaps his most famous match, when
Pelé stunned the world scoring six goals, including two in
the championship game to help Brazil win its first World Cup 5-2
over Sweden. He was only 17 years-old at the time, but a soccer
legend was born. Pelé became more famous in America in 1975,
when he came out of retirement to play for the New York Cosmos of
the infant North American Soccer League. Pelé retired again
in 1977 after leading the Cosmos to the NASL championship. This
incredible b&w photograph (available in both 8x10 and 16x20)
shows Pelé doing his famous "bicycle kick" as astonished
defenders look on. Hand-signed by Pelé at a recent signing
and Sports Gallery Quality Framed in thick mahogany, UV-protective
glass and classic double-matting, this is a GREAT soccer collectible from the greatest player to have ever laced up
a pair of cleats.

The Thrill of Victory |
| $895 |
Pelé.
The God of football. "O Rei".
Whatever the name, the memory is the same: a world-beating superstar
and a record-breaking soccer icon. Above and beyond his unequaled
achievement in winning three FIFA World Cups, Pelé was
a genius who was constantly reinventing the game of soccer With
every touch of the ball, every pass, every dribble, Pelé
was capable of coming up with something new - something the fans
had never seen before. With a killer instinct in front of goal,
an eye for the perfect pass and legendary dribbling skills, Pelé
was just about the perfect soccer player. And if Brazil came to
incarnate the "beautiful game" in the eyes of so many fans around the world, this can largely
be credited to the breathtaking skills of their celebrated #10.
Pelé played in 92 matches for Brazil and scored a remarkable
77 goals. And he is the only player to have won three FIFA World
Cup titles. A soccer legend, Pelé hand-signed this vintage
color photograph of himself during one of his rare US signings.
16x20 in size, this classic photograph is Sports Gallery Quality
Framed in thick mahogany, UV-protective glass, and beautiful green
w/ yellow trim double-matting. A classy piece of sports art and
terrific investment, this is the perfect gift for that special
soccer fan in your life.
