Everyone has a special ball,
bat or helmet.
Are they providing it the display
and protection it deserves?
Our
unique line of high-quality, protective display
cases are popular gifts. We find that people often
have a special ball, bat, helmet, etc. that they
are not displaying, and more importantly protecting,
as well as they could and should.
That's where Sports Gallery display cases come
in to the picture. All our quality cases are made
of UV-protective glass which will preserve your
collectible for years to come. Without it, the
collectible is vulnerable to discoloration and
fading, even if it isn't exposed to direct sunlight
as UV rays bounce around almost any room with
light. And our cases look great with cherrywood
or mahogany casing, glass displays, and, on certain
cases, locked doors with keys. They turn your
special collectible into a proud display that
is a piece of art.
This
month ALL
of our quality display cases are on sale, some
up to 25%
OFF.
San Francisco Giants Legends
500 Home Run Club
Baseball Hall of Fame
Two
Giant Legends among Giants Legends.
Willie
Mays, the "Say Hey Kid," is a Hall of
Famer who played with enthusiasm and exuberance
while excelling in all phases of the game
hitting for average and power, fielding, throwing
and baserunning. His staggering career statistics
include 3,283 hits and 660 home runs. He accumulated
two MVP Awards, 12 Gold Gloves, and played in
a record-tying 24 All-Star Games and participated
in four World Series. His catch of Vic Wertz'
drive (simply called The
Catch by baseball historians) in the
1954 Series remains one of Baseball's most memorable
moments.
1B Willie McCovey used his sweeping swing to belt
521 homers making him a member of the Giants'
500 Home Run Club, an exclusive group of three
that includes McCovey, Willie
Mays and Barry Bonds. McCovey's 18 grand
slams rank third to Lou Gehrig's 23 and Eddie
Murray's 19. He led the National League in homers
three times and in RBI's twice. "Stretch"
was named National League Rookie of the Year in
1959 and MVP ten years later. McCovey
was elected to the Pro Baseball Hall of Fame in
1986.

Ronnie Lott
Autographed Photographs
Hes
like a middle linebacker playing safety,
Hall of Fame coach Tom Landry once remarked
when describing Ronnie Lott. Hes
devastating. He may dominate the secondary
better than anyone Ive seen.
Apparently the NFL agreed naming Lott to the
NFLs 75th Anniversary Team and inducting
him into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In
his ten seasons with the 49ers, San Francisco
won eight NFC Western Division titles and
four Super Bowls. Hard to do much better than
that.
During
Ronnie's recent public Signing
with Sports Gallery
he signed several great Niner photos of himself
in action.

Our
Los Gatos store hosted two great signings
recently - soccer superstar Brandi
Chastain and San Jose Sharks captain
Patrick
Marleau. Both
were great hosts, chatting with the large
crowd and signing anything and everything
for their fans. In addition, they signed some
very cool collectibles for Sports Gallery,
two of which are on special for the Holidays.
Brandi Chastain
Autographed Sports Illustrated
Ms.
Versatile, the totally two-footed Brandi Chastain
started at the left back position for the
United States 1999 Women's World Cup team.
And it was in the Championship Game of that
World Cup that this San Jose, CA native provided
one of the greatest moments in the history
of women's sports with her clinching penalty
kick on the USA's fifth and final shot. And
almost more memorable than her laser shot
past Chinese goalkeeper Gao Hong was her reaction
afterwards. In a spontaneous moment of pure
joy, Brandi peeled off her shirt, clutching
it in her hands as she fell to her knees.
A classic moment that graced the cover of
Time, Newsweek and Sports Illustrated in the
weeks that followed the US victory.
During
Brandi's Signing
at Sports Gallery
she signed a digital copy of this
famous Sports Illustrated cover.

Patric Marleau
Autographed Photograph
Born
in Aneroid, Saskatchewan, Center Patrick
Marleau was the San Jose Sharks 1st pick
in the 1997 NHL Draft and the 2nd pick overall.
A gifted forward, Marleau is an excellent
passer and finisher. And in 2003/2004, Patrick
became an All-Star representing the Sharks
in the 2004 All-Star Game. Captain and leading
scorer for the Sharks in 2004, Marleau has
emerged as one of the bright young stars
of the NHL. In fact he was named to Canada's
2004 World Cup team, an incredible honor
for this 24-year old! And now Marleau is
paired with Joe
Thornton on the Sharks for perhaps
the best one-two center punch in all of
hockey. Watch out for Patrick and the Sharks
in 2006/07!
During
Patrick's Signing
at Sports Gallery
he signed this great action
shot of Patty dishing the puck.
Pacific
Bell (now SBC) Park, with its breathtaking views
and classic design, received rave reviews throughout
the country as one of the smash hits of 2000. The
Giants' new home, replacing dreary Candlestick Park,
features an inspiring nine-foot statue of America's
greatest living ballplayer, Willie
Mays, at the public entrance; Portuguese water
dogs who fetch home runs that splash into McCovey
Cove (named after another Hall of Fame Willie);
an 80-foot Coca-Cola bottle with playground slides
and miniature Pacific Bell Park behind left field
that has become a magnet for kids of all of ages.
This
breathtaking panoramic of San Francisco's Pac Bell
Park was taken during the memorable 2002 World Series.
Shot under cloudy skies during the pre-game ceremonies,
this vibrant panoramic displays the beauty and uniqueness
of Pac Bell, including the wacky McCovey Cove flotilla.

Over
the years, Pebble Beach Golf Links has inspired
some of golf's most memorable moments. Perhaps it
is its stunning location; perhaps its famously challenging
reputation. Whatever the reason, Pebble Beach is
considered one of the worlds' great golf courses.
The US Open Championship has been played at Pebble
Beach four times, most recently in the year 2000
for its 100th playing. And If it appears as if the
course has taken a hundred years to develop this
way, its because it nearly has. The first 9-hole
track was laid out along the cove in 1913. Without
a doubt one of the world's great golf courses.
This
stunning 16x20 (26"w x 23"h framed) aerial
photograph of Pebble Beach, Carmel Bay and the Pacific
Ocean is quality framed in your choice of thick
black wood or mahogany and hand-signed by the photographer.
One of the few officially commissioned photographs
of this world-famous course, this beautiful photograph
would make a great gift for that special golfer
(or any lover of gorgeous scenery for that matter)
in your life.

Michael
Jordan Autographed Jersey Special
Michael Jordan GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)
On
October 30, 2001 Michael Jordan returned from
retirement for the second time in his career,
posting 19 points (7-21 FG, 5-6 FT), six assists,
five rebounds and four steals against the New
York Knicks. That year, he led his new team, the
Washington Wizards, with 22.9 points per game
and scored his 30,000th career point vs. Chicago
on January 4, 2002. In 2002-2003 Jordan has again
astounded the league by playing some of his best
basketball at age 40. Now retired and no longer
apart of the Washington organization, it is doubtful
Jordan will be signing many of these jerseys in
the future (he and the Wizards did not part on
the best of terms). All of which makes this an
incredibly unique Jordan collectible. A great
gift for that Jordan...or just sports...fan that
appreciates and covets unique collectibles. Hand-signed
by Michael and quality framed and matted in thick
black wood and blue suede matting, it is a beautiful
piece of art that would look fabulous on any wall.
And, for a limited time, a Sports Gallery
Web Special!
But
we only have one so act fast before another Jordan
fan beats you to
this great investment in the GOAT.
