Sharks Bad Boy Brad Staubitz Conducts His First Bay Area Signing @ Sports
Gallery! | | | |
| On
January 31, 2010, Sharks Bad Boy, Tough Guy, Enforcer, Thug, [insert
favorite Goon reference here], Brad Staubitz conducted his first SF Bay
Area signing at...where else...Sports Gallery! |
|
| | | | | With
Jody Shelley now gone from the Sharks in a recent trade with the NY Rangers, Brad
Staubitz is officially the Sharks Muscle -
the man the Sharks will count on for much of their physical presence in their
2010 Stanley Cup run. And he's a darn good hockey player. Born in Edmonton, Alberta,
and raised in Sarnia, Ontario, Staubitz played his junior career as a defenseman
but was converted to the wing at the pro level. Undrafted, Staubitz made his NHL
debut for the Sharks during the 200809 season. Not surprisingly Brad recorded
a fighting major on his first career shift in the NHL! And he's continued to deliver
on the ice ever since...so much so that the Sharks were willing to trade the very
popular Jody Shelley. | | |
| | | | Signing
for over an hour, it is clear Brad is already a favorite with Sharks fans. And
it's not hard to tell why. After all, who doesn't like a good hockey fight? And
Brad is a great personality...terrific with the fans. Lots of autographs, fight
talk and posing for photos. But mostly lots of smiles. |

thanks to all the terrific Sharks fans that made this such a great evening. Go
