Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal
Wimbledon 2004 Championship |
| $529 |
Roger
Federer has been the World No. 1 ranked tennis player since February
2, 2004, the longest streak in tennis history. Many tennis critics,
past legends of the game, and his own peers consider him as having
the potential to be the greatest player in history. In 2008, he
was named Laureus World Sportsman of
the Year for a record fourth consecutive time. Federer has
won twelve Grand Slam singles titles (three Australian Open, five
Wimbledon, four US Open), four Tennis Masters Cup titles, and fourteen
ATP Masters Series titles. He holds many records in the game, including
having appeared in ten consecutive Grand Slam men's singles finals
(2005 Wimbledon Championships through to 2007 U.S. Open). Rafael
Nadal, the Spanish professional tennis player, who is ranked #2
in the world (for 150 consecutive weeks and counting), is a four-time
singles French Open champion (2005-2008), and a one-time champion
at Wimbledon (2008). Nadal is undefeated at the French Open, having
won all 28 matches played at that tournament. Rafael Nadal vs. Roger
Federer, is arguably the greatest rivalry in Men's Tennis, since
Sampras vs. Agassi. This shot of Federer and Nadal together at the
2004 Wimbledon FInal, is a wonderful collectible for any tennis
fan. Sports Gallery Quality
Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass and classic
double matting, this timeless collectible is just too good to pass
up.

| Three-time
Wimbledon Champion John McEnroe said it best when he said "This
is the greatest match I've ever seen." Perhaps an understatement.
Even people that don't particularly like tennis LOVED this match.
The 2008 Wimbledon Men's Final was, by acclamation, one of the finest
Grand Slam finals ever played...one that moved seamlessly into the
conversation with the Wimbledon marathon between Bjorn Borg and
John McEnroe in 1980. It was also the longest Wimbledon Match of
all time at 4 hours and 48 minutes. Rafel Nadal dethroned Roger
Federer after a five-year reign by winning the consistently heartstopping
6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-7 (8-10), 9-7 classic, which began at 2:35
PM and, thanks to a couple of breaks for rain (surely necessary
for the spectators to catch their breath), ended at 9:15. And ended
with the 22-year old from Mallorca, Spain dropping to the ground
with his arms outstretched in celebration. Wimbledon, and perhaps
tennis, has a new King. And he took the crown in unforgettable fashion.
This Sports
Gallery Exclusive captures Nadal and his competitive
spirit beautifully. Quality framed in thick black wood, UV-protective
glass, and black double matting, this is a timeless piece of Sports
Art from a match for the ages. Available in three sizes,

Pete
Sampras
Attacking the Net and Big Serve 8x10's |
Pete Sampras is arguably the most dominant World's
#1 Men's Tennis Player ever. During his 15-year career, he won a
record 14 Grand Slam men's singles and finished as the World No.
1 on the ATP rankings for six consecutive years, a record for the
open era and tied for third all-time. Sampras won the singles title
at Wimbledon seven times, a record shared with William Renshaw.
He also won five singles titles at the U.S. Open, an Open era record
shared with Jimmy Connors. TENNIS
Magazine has named Pete the greatest player from 1965 through 2005.
On July 17, 2007, Sampras was inducted into the International Tennis
Hall of Fame. Sports Gallery is proud to offer two great 8x10 action
shots, both hand-signed by Pete - Attacking
the Net and
Big Serve. Both are Sports Gallery
Quality
Framed in thick black wood, UV-protective glass (very
important for signature protection!) and classic double matting.
A timeless collectible from one of the all-time tennis greats.
