ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
Assistant Greenskeeper Carl Spackler (played by Bill Murray) is about to start WWIII - against a gopher. Pompous Judge Smails plays golf to win but his nubile niece Lacey Underall wants to score her own way. Playboy Ty Webb shoots perfect golf by becoming the ball. And loudmouth Bushwood Guest Al Czervik just doubled a $20,000 bet on a 10-foot putt. Such is Caddyshack, the 1980 comedy that has become a low-brow classic. Caddyshack is about the scheme of a vulgar land developer (Al Czervik played by the incomparable Rodney Dangerfield) who wants to build condominiums on the site of a ritzy country club. But who really cares about the plot. What made the movie were the antics of Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, Bill Murray and Ted Knight. With Harold Ramis directing, the comic skills of these four blend in a riotous hole-in-one for comedy fans. Caddyshack has become a cult classic that fans watch several times a year, reciting every line of dialogue like the followers of a bizarre comedic ritual. We are offering this very cool Bushwood Country Club Flag Display featuring Bill Murray as part of our SGA Signature Series. Quality Framed with black moulding and classing double matting, this 34" w x 19 1/2" h display includes an expertly pinned Caddyshack/Bushwood Flag, Floating 8x10 Photo of Bill vs. Gopher from the film, and an SGA Exclusive plate with a laser-engraved facsimile of Bill's autograph along with his famous "Au revoir, Gopher!" line. A timeless piece of Sports (and Entertainment!) Art celebrating one of the great sports comedies of all-time and great gift for any golfer or film buff.
