ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE

"My office is at Yankee stadium. Yes, dreams do come true." Of course, Captain Clutch would get a walk-off single in his final at bat at Yankee Stadium...of course he would. The movie script that was his New York baseball career could not have had any other ending. A Yankee Classic, Jeter played on FIVE(!) World Series Championship Teams. He finished his career with a .310 batting average, 14x All-Star, 5x Gold Glove, 5x Silver Slugger, AL Rookie of the Year, 3000 Hit Club and as the Yankees Captain, an honor he held from 2003 until his retirement. Jeter also is the holder of the Yankees Career Hits Record (3,465!). He completed a rare "double" of sorts in 2000 when he was named MVP of the All-Star Game as well as the World Series. And he finished his career with a game-winning, walk-off single in his last game at Yankee Stadium…his "office" as he liked to call it. Perfect. Away from the field, few players were as popular as Derek. If the Yankees could have retired his number while he was still playing they probably would have! But they won't have to wait long as Derek retired to much fanfare and adulation after the 2014 season. This 8x10 Photo of Derek was taken moments after his unforgettable walk-off single, the latest addition to Yankee Lore. This classic photo is part of our Exclusive SGA Signature Series, unsigned displays that include an SG facsimile signature plate. In this case, we've combined the photo with an engraving of Derek's elegant signature, along with the details of the game, hit and moment. A lot of good stuff in one totally unique presentation, this is a terrific piece of Sports Art commemorating not only one of the most popular players to wear a Yankees uniform but also one of his most unforgettable moments as a player. The perfect gift for any Jeter fan!
