ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
Elvis Aaron Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935 to Vernon and Gladys Presley. A little over twenty years later, he returned for one of his most famous concerts. In September 1956, Elvis Presley was at his rock'n'roll peak. He was already the major youth-driving force with 'Heartbreak Hotel', 'I Want You, I Need You, I Love You', 'Hound Dog/Don't Be Cruel' all hitting Number 1 and 'Love Me Tender' about to do the same with a million pre-orders. The public was also invigorated over his recent landmark TV appearances. And it was during this time that Elvis returned to his hometown. Tupelo was still only a small town of around 8,000 total population yet over 15,000 people, along with his parents, turned up that weekend to celebrate Elvis's homecoming. Many consider this "Homecoming Concert" the best of Elvis' remarkable career. This famous 11x14 photograph taken during that show is part of our SGA UnderFifty Series, our best framed value and the perfect way to add "The King" to your wall at a great price. this beauty is a great piece of Entertainment Art and wonderful gift for any music fan!
