We Will Rock You!  Or at least Freddie & Queen will.  The late great Freddie Mercury was born in 1946 in Zanzibar to Parsi parents from India. In 1964, his family fled the Zanzibar Revolution, moving to Middlesex, England. Having studied and written music for years, he formed Queen in 1970 with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor. And the rest, as they say, is history. Mercury wrote numerous hits for Queen, including "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", and "We Are the Champions". Sadly, Mercury died in 1991 at age 45 due to complications from AIDS. As a member of Queen, Mercury was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. And the 2018 film about Mercury and Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, is the highest-grossing musical biographical film of all time. An amazing musical legacy, this terrific Wembley Stadium b&w image from his last tour with Queen is a keeper.  More an artist rendering than a true photo, this beauty is part of our very cool (and popular!) unsigned SG Signature Series, and includes an engraved facsimile Freddie Mercury signature plate, along with “The Last Tour” and details of the show.  Measuring approximately 17" h x 22” w (framed) and Sports Gallery Quality Framed with wood moulding, glass and double-matting, this "Music Art" is a terrific tribute to a timeless performer and the perfect display (and gift!) for any Queen…or Freddie…fan
