ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
It isn't hard to see why The Golden Gate Bridge is the most photographed bridge in the World. Just look at it! Throw in almost daily creeping fog and occasional fireworks and you got a gem of a photo. Construction on this iconic bridge began in January of 1933, right in the middle of the Great Depression. It finished under budget and ahead of schedule in 1937. One of the fun facts about the Golden Gate Bridge is the fact that it was named after the Golden Gate Strait below and NOT its color (which is really red). When it was built, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world with a total suspension span of 4,200 feet...a man-made wonder. Today it is the 9th longest but is still a wonder to those who see it. This beautiful 11x14 night photo of the bridge at night with fireworks in the background is amazing. Then we went to work with our Sports Gallery Quality Framing that includes wood moulding (black or mahogany), deluxe matting with white trim and v-groove and SGA Exclusive Plate commemorating the Bridge's opening date and status as "The Most Photographed Bridge In The World." Measuring 17"h x 20"w framed, this beauty is a great addition to any wall and a terrific gift.
