Every Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band has their “big” album.  Escape was that album for Journey.  It was their seventh studio album and while they had great success prior to its release in 1981, Escape was a game-changer.  It topped the American Billboard 200 chart and featured four hit Billboard Hot 100 singles – "Don't Stop Believin'" (#9), "Who's Crying Now" (#4), "Still They Ride" (#19) and "Open Arms" (#2). It was certified 9x platinum by the RIAA  and sold over twelve million copies worldwide, making it the band's most successful studio album.  And did we mention “Don’t Stop Believin’? Who would have guessed this would be Journey’s most timeless anthem? In 2007, the song gained a sharp growth in popularity when it was used in the famous final scene of HBO's The Sopranos series finale.  Today it is the most downloaded digital single from the 1980’s…and played at every sporting event everywhere!  This Sports Gallery Exclusive Display features a print of Journey's "Escape" album.  Then we went work with our SG Quality Framing that includes wood moulding, glass, matting with trim and custom  "Don't Stop Believin" Plate.  The plate includes the full chorus, along with "Steve Perry / Neil Schon, 1981", the two principle song-writers/band members and year of release.  Just a great display for any fan of Journey and classic rock!
