ONLY TWO REMAINING IN STOCK! In 1989, The San Francisco Giants were all about the "Pacific Sock Exchange" - Will "The Thrill" Clark and Kevin Mitchell. Clark is most remembered for his classic left-handed uppercut swing that earned him the alternate nickname "The Natural." A feisty competitor, this Mississippi St. Bulldog's best MLB years were with the Giants where he was a fan favorite and led them to two post-seasons and the 1989 World Series. His finest hour came in 1989, when he batted .333 (narrowly losing the batting title to Tony Gwynn on the final day of the season) with 111 RBIs, finishing second in the NL MVP voting to teammate Kevin Mitchell. Mitchell was a raw baseball talent capable of amazing things on the field. Traded to San Francisco in 1987, Kevin belted a pair of homers in his SF debut. Kevin went on to hit .306 the rest of that season as the Giants won the NL West. However, the 1989 season was the pinnacle of Mitchell's career. In that season, he had a league-best 125 RBI and 47 home runs, leading the team to the playoffs and winning the National League's MVP Award, the first by a Giant since Willie McCovey in 1969. This Sports Gallery Exclusive Display celebrates not only these two great Giants, but also an unforgettable period of Giants Baseball when they not only won on the field but had two of the hottest stars in the game. These two hand-signed 8x10 photographs are Sports Gallery Quality Framed with wood moulding, UV-protectilve glass, Giants matting and official "Battle of the Bay" World Series Patch. Also included is a commemorative "Pacific Sock Exchange" Custom Plate. OR YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN PLATE! Just a totally unique collectible and Sports Art that any longtime Giants fan will cherish!
