LIMITED NUMBER AVAILABLE AT SPECIAL PRICE! Earvin "Magic" Johnson, a native of East Lansing, Michigan, was destined for greatness from the day he stepped onto the basketball court at Lansing Everett High School until he retired from the Los Angeles Lakers, winning championships at the high school, collegiate, professional and international levels. Johnson not only led Michigan State to the 1979 NCAA championship in a classic battle against Indiana State's Larry Bird, but was also an immediate superstar in the NBA leading the Los Angeles Lakers to five NBA Championships ('80, '82, '85, '87, '88). Johnson's career achievements include three NBA MVP Awards, nine NBA Finals appearances, twelve All-Star games, and ten All-NBA First and Second Team nominations. He led the league in regular-season assists four times, and is the NBA's all-time leader in assists per game, with an average of 11.2. Johnson was a member of the "Dream Team", the U.S. basketball team that won the Olympic gold medal in 1992. Johnson was also honored as one of the "50 Greatest Players in NBA History" in 1996, and was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002. He was rated the greatest NBA point guard of all time by ESPN in 2007. Put simply, Magic WAS magic on the basketball court. This awesome hand-signed 8x10 photograph of Magic going one-on-one with Michael Jordan is a beauty. This Sports Gallery Exclusive "Showtime!" Display is Quality Framed in black wood, UV-protective glass and classic double matting and includes commemorative plate with Magic's great quote: "Ask not what your teammates can do for you. Ask what you can do for your teammates." Just a timeless collectible and a great gift for any basketball fan.
