    ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE

Two basketball legends together in one terrific display! Earvin "Magic" Johnson, a native of East Lansing, Michigan, not only led Michigan State to the 1979 NCAA championship in a classic battle against Indiana State's Larry Bird, but was also an immediate superstar in the NBA leading the Los Angeles Lakers to five NBA Championships ('80, '82, '85, '87, '88). Johnson's career achievements include three NBA MVP Awards, nine NBA Finals appearances, twelve All-Star games, and ten All-NBA First and Second Team nominations. Like Jordan, Johnson was a member of the "Dream Team" that won the Olympic gold medal in 1992 and was also honored as one of the "50 Greatest Players in NBA History" in 1996. Put simply, Magic WAS magic on the basketball court. Michael Jordan is considered by many to be the greatest basketball player of all time. A remarkable force at both ends of the floor, "MJ" ended a career of 15 full seasons with a regular-season scoring average of 30.12 points per game, the highest in NBA history (ahead of Wilt Chamberlain's 30.06). He won six Championships, notched 10 scoring titles, and was League MVP five times. He has appeared on the front cover of Sports Illustrated more than any other athlete and, in 1999, he was named "The Greatest North American Athlete of the 20th Century" by ESPN. In other words, MJ was pretty darn good. This classic 16x20 or 11x14 Photograph of Magic and Michael going head to head is part of our unsigned SGA Signature Series that includes a Sports Gallery Exclusive laser-engraved facsimile signature (BOTH signatures in this case) Inset Plate, along with "Magic vs. MJ" and the iconic Lakers and Bulls logos. A classic piece of Basketball Sports Art that any roundball fan would love!
