    ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE

Mike Ditka IS the face of the Chicago Bears. Da Coach coached the Chicago Bears, a team he also played for as a Tight End, for 11 years from 1982 thru the 1992 season. Ditka and Tom Flores are the only two people to win an NFL title as a player, an assistant coach, and a head coach. Ditka is also the only individual in NFL modern history to win a championship with the same team as a player and a head coach. Most important to Bears fans, Ditka was the ONLY individual to participate in both of the last two Chicago Bears' championships, as a player in 1963 and as head coach in 1985. As a Tight End, Ditka was very good. In 1988, his fearsome blocking and 427 career receptions for 5,812 yards and 43 touchdowns earned him the honor of being the first tight end ever inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But his coaching was even better. By his third season Ditka led the Bears to the NFC Championship Game. The following year Ditka's coaching career hit its pinnacle on January 26, 1986 with a 46–10 trouncing of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX at the Louisiana Superdome. And he was equally famous for his antics, including this famous "flipping the bird" moment and photograph. This great 8x10 photo is handsigned by Mike and uniquely presented by Sports Gallery with Bears patch and special Monsters of the Midway plate. SGA Quality Framed, this beauty is the perfect gift for any fan of 'Da Bears.
