ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
Born in Aneroid, Saskatchewan, Center Patrick Marleau was the San Jose Sharks 1st pick in the 1997 NHL Draft and the 2nd pick overall. And he's been a Shark ever since. A gifted forward, Marleau is an excellent passer and finisher. In 2003/2004, Patrick became an All-Star for the first time representing the Sharks in the 2004 All-Star Game. All-Star season #2 game in 2006/07 when Patrick played with teammates Jonathan Cheechoo and Joe Thornton on the Western Conference All-Star team. The all-time Sharks leader in games played, goals, assists, and points, Patrick scored his 500th point in 2007, all as a Shark. And in 2009/10 Patrick was amongst the League leaders in Goals Scored and was selected to represent Canada in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games (where he won Gold!). On January 17, 2011 "Patty" played (and scored) in his 1,000th game becoming the youngest NHL player to reach 1,000 games with the same team. Also a member of the Gold Medal 2014 Canadian Olympic Team, Patrick is just a great player (and super guy!). This Sharks Logo Puck is hand-signed by Patrick in silver sharpie. Then we went to work with our Quality Framing, this time "shadowboxing" (think thick/deep wood frame) the puck and action 8x10 photograph with black wood, UV protective glass and suede matting, along with custom Sharks Logo Background plate commemorating his status as the Sharks All-Time Leading Scorer. OR YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN PLATE! A great collectible from one of the NHL's best and a fantastic gift for any Sharks fan!
