ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
Baseball's most durable catcher with 24 years behind the plate, Carlton "Pudge" Fisk caught more games (2,226) than any player in history. The 11-time All-Star hit 376 career home runs, including 351 as a catcher (2nd all-time behind only Mike Piazza). A Gold Glove Award and 3× Silver Slugger Award Winner, Carlton's most memorable moment came in Game Six of the 1975 World Series — a game many pundits consider to be the greatest in baseball history. In this classic, Fisk delivered a 12th inning HR blast off the left field foul pole at Fenway Park to giving the Red Sox a 7-6 win over Cincinnati. It is a moment no longtime Red Sox fan will ever forget. A Boston fan favorite (his #27 is retired by the team), Fisk's tremendous pride and work ethic were respected by teammates, fans, and opposition alike. This b&w 11x14 photograph of Fisk's famous World Series HR is a classic, showing his famous wave as he tries (successfully!) to coax the ball fair. The SGA UnderFifty Series is our best framed value and a great way to add this classic Red Sox moment to your wall at a low cost. Quality Framed, this beauty is a great piece of Sports Art and perfect gift for any Red Sox fan!
