ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
"Hammerin' Hank" Aaron earned his nickname by clubbing 755 round-trippers over his 23-year career. Not only did he raise the bar for home runs, but he also established 12 other major league career records, including most games, at-bats, total bases and RBI's. Aaron played the infield but gained recognition as an excellent outfielder, winning three Gold Glove awards. He earned National League Most Valuable Player honors in 1957, and appeared in a record 24 All-Star Games. One of the legendary names in baseball, this classic 8x10 photograph is from one of the legendary moments in sports - the night in Atlanta when Hank broke the great Babe Ruth's Career Home Run record by hitting #715. Easily a top ten moment in baseball history, this beauty is part of our Exclusive SGA Signature Series, unsigned displays that include a facsimile signature plate. In this case we've combined this vintage photo with Hank's autograph, along with a description of #715, to create a timeless piece of Sports Art from a very special moment in baseball history. An iconic shot of an iconic player, and great gift for any baseball fan.
