ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
Chicago Cubs 3B Chris Bryant is a stud of a baseball player. In college, Bryant won the Golden Spikes Award and the Dick Howser Trophy, and was also named a Louisville Slugger First Team All-American and the College Baseball News National Player of the Year. Selected by the Cubs #2 in the 2013 MLB Draft, Bryant was called up to the majors by the Cubs on April 17, 2015. Kris hit his first major league home run on May 9, 2015, a three run shot, off of Milwaukee Brewers Kyle Lohse. His second home run came at Wrigley Field; the first ball hit into the newly opened left field bleachers. On September 6, Bryant hit a 495-foot HR, the longest of the 2015 MLB season. With the homer, Bryant tied Williams (1961) and Geovany Soto (2008), for the Cubs' franchise single-season RBI record for rookies with 86. On September 22, Bryant passed Williams for the most home runs by a Cubs rookie, with 26. Bryant was awarded the Sporting News Rookie of the Year Award for the National League, becoming the first Cub to earn it since Soto in 2008. Also an All-Star in his first season in the MLB, Bryant and the Cubs were even better in 2016...WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!...with Kris hitting 39 HR’s and 102 RBI’s in the regular season and being awarded the NL MVP. This great 16x20 or 11x14 Photograph of Kris at the plate doing what he does best is part of our unsigned SGA Signature Series, a very cool display that includes an SGA Exclusive engraved facsimile Kris Bryant signature Inset Plate, along with "WORLD SERIES CHAMP & NL MVP"...a more beautiful combination of words has't been uttered about a Cub in over a Century! A wonderful piece of Sports Art from a key ingredient in the Cubs rise to greatness!
