ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
ONLY THREE REMAINING! Tommy grew up in Evanston, Illinois, playing AAA youth hockey for Team Illinois, Juniors with the Cedar Rapid Roughriders, and College Hockey with Miami of Ohio. In 2008 Tommy was selected by the Sharks in the NHL Entry Draft and made his debut in teal on October 8, 2010. While a Shark, Tommy was an important part of the team's success with his gritty, yet skilled, style of play. He definitely became a fan favorite at the Tank. In addition, Tommy is a member of the Advisory Board for "You Can Play!" a campaign dedicated to fighting homophobia in sports. On May 2, 2013, Wingels' work with You Can Play led him to be nominated for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, an award given to player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and who has made a significant humanitarian contribution to his community. This action photograph, available in 11x14, is hand-signed by Tommy and is available unframed. Sports Gallery Certificate of Authenticity Included.
