ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
2 Packer...and Football…Legends together in one special display! Vincent Thomas "Vince" Lombardi is considered by many to be one of the best and most successful coaches in NFL history. Hard to argue with that considering that the League's Super Bowl Trophy is named in his honor. Lombardi is best known as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960s, where he led the team to three straight and five total league championships in seven years, including winning the first two Super Bowls (I & II). And who was Vince and the Packers QB for those two Super Bowls? Bart Starr, of course. Starr played quarterback for the Packers from 1956 through 1971. He was the only quarterback in history to lead a team to five league championships (1961–62, 1965–67), before Tom Brady did his thing. He was named the MVP of the first two Super Bowls, was league MVP in 1966, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Packers Hall of Fame in 1977. Sports Gallery is offering this cool b&w 16x20 or 11x14 photograph of these two Packer icons strategizing on the sidelines as part of our unsigned SGA Signature Series that includes an SGA Exclusive laser-engraved facsimile signature plate. In this case etchings of BOTH autographs are included on the plate, along with "TITLETOWN U.S.A." and their Super Bowl Championships. Just a great piece of Sports Art that any Cheesehead would love!
