ABOUT THIS COLLECTIBLE
Vincent Thomas "Vince" Lombardi is considered by many to be one of the best and most successful coaches in NFL history. Hard to argue with that considering that the National Football League's Super Bowl Trophy is named in his honor. Lombardi is best known as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960s, where he led the team to three straight and five total League Championships in seven years, including winning the first two Super Bowls (I & II). Born in Brooklyn, New York, Vince was an Assistant at Fordham University (his alma mater) as well as the United States Military Academy at the collegiate level. In the Pros, he was an Assistant with the New York Giants before becoming a head coach for the Green Bay Packers from 1959 to 1967 and the Washington Redskins in 1969. He never had a losing season as a head coach in the NFL, compiling a regular season winning percentage of 73.8% (96-34-6) and an amazing 90% (9-1) in the postseason. This classic 11x14 or 8x10 photograph of Vince being carried off the Field after the Pack's Super Bowl II victory is a classic and is part of theSG Value Series, our best framed value. Quality Framed, this beauty is a great way to add this classic Packer moment to your wall at a great price. The perfect gift for any Cheesehead!
